  1. So I was on a mission to become a GOLD MEMBER (Austin Powers style) so I've been going a bit nuts with Starbucks lately. Nonetheless I ordered my same old beverage, an iced chai latte – a simple drink of tea concentrate and milk. You wouldn't believe the foolishness I've seen in some locations just waiting to order or for my drink to come out.

However at this location I had no hassle. I was actually stressed for time but I was able to order, get my drink and run out to get my kid in no time. The cashier was a cashier, took my order nothing to fall in love with and the Barista at the bar that day to me was the man because like I said I didn't have to wait. I got my drink less than a minute after I ordered and I wasn't even the first one in line. I do commend the cashier for stepping up though, he wasn't originally on the register but there was a lady in front on me that didn't know what she wanted and had too many questions so he slid over and started taking my order. The store was clean, there was ample amount of seating – the store actually fit the neighborhood, quiet and laid back.

I enjoyed my visit though it was short and I really liked the mugs selection they had displayed on the back wall before you hit the register.

  2. This is a nice, larger location with table and stool seating.  Usually seats are pretty filled but I haven't had an issue finding a seat the few times I've needed one.  There's usually a line of 3-5 people so a wait is to be expected.

Like the remodeled look which gave the store some new energy.  The more recent staff has been pretty friendly from the cashiers to the baristas and I've seen the same faces regularly, which is nice.  Helps in wanting to come back to the store when people are friendly.  Food and drinks are pretty much the same across locations so not too much to say about that.

  3. Morning pick me up while running to the subway…

Why does this starbucks stand out amongst the million in manhattan or even compared to the one on 1st and 23rd??

    1) Super friendly!
-Blake is amazing!! As a walk in, he gives me the peace sign (a way of asking if I want my 2 shots of expresso) and I just shoot mine back up and bam, my drink is ready when I'm done paying.
-There is also a tall Asian guy (forgot his name) who is also very friendly, greets you and asks how you are doing.
    2) Fast and efficient
    3) On the way to the subway
    4) Large enough to bring your books to study or do work

  4. This Starbucks is located close to NYU joint hospital.   There was a line but it moved quickly.

The coffee was as expected at any Starbucks.

The milk containers were empty and I had to ask for them to refresh the containers.

  5. Not a bad bux but they're cheap AF with the refills. Bathroom always seems to be out of order.

    Service isn't bad.

Lots and lots of seating for your work from home pleasure.

Far enough from Union Square to feel as though you've done something with your like. Close enough to get back to the train. Also close many errands.

You'll find both coffee and breakfast here. Not the worst. Bad with refills.

  6. I come here on the daily. Service I would say about 4 stars. They're okay-friendly. The woman with the short light blond hair is consistently friendly and always in a good mood which gives off nice energy all the time. They keep it clean and the bathroom is always in okay-decent condition. I decided to write a review just to give the baristas a tip. Every Starbucks varies how much milk they put in the cappuccinos which really affects the taste of the espresso. Too much milk you kill the taste and it just tastes like foamed milk with a tiny bit of espresso. No bueno! They do that here a lot compared to other locations. I'd rather a lighter cup with a strong taste then a full cup with way too much milk…just sayin…since i'm not gonna stop goin here.

  7. Across the street from my job, so pretty convenient. The baristas here are great. Always friendly and fun personalities.

  8. This Starbucks is conveniently located close to my Drs office at Beth Israel. Service is quick, efficient and friendly. I just wish they had some for here mugs. To their credit the barista did make an effort to locate one. Also, there was not enough milk in the condiment bar. Overall a decent store which is cozy and clean.
