Worst Starbucks experience to date. I came in here at about 5:40 after having ordered a cupcake frap on the iPhone app during the frap happy hour from 3-6pm.
I get my standard frap mixing of light ice and extra whip cream on top of whatever frap I order during the day. With the app any option is possible and is printed out clear as day onto a sticker that is placed on the cup. Yet for some reason my order was not completed to my satisfaction in the least.
Like I said I ordered light ice. Well after sipping my drink twice I ran into a full piece of ice. Not just a small shard but a full piece.
I also asked for extra whip cream and I got barely anything. The closest comparison is a tall drink amount of whipping.
Suffice it to say I am highly unsatisfied with my order and will be requesting my money back from the main office.
What's weird about this Bux is that it's so drastically different from the one across the park, but it's still necessary in its own right. There's a lot of good about this Bux.
1) There is a restroom and it is locked for paying customers only.
2) Lots of seating and outlets for work or meeting friends or just relaxing.
3) The staff is pretty quick and on top of their game.
Some things I'd like to see improved might be
1) be less cheap with the refills
2) a better food system. After I pick up my drink, I then have to run across a football field of people to get my bagel. Can you move the toaster down or nah? If nah, can you bring the food to where the drinks are? If nah, still, why?
Line is long but moves quickly. The store is average as Starbucks has become very McDonalds like lately. I wish they would have more for here mugs to enjoy coffee in the cafe.
Literally my to go place for coffee in the AM. The occasionally regular in this spot and coffee addict. When you drink enough coffee especially from Starbucks whether its a Tall – Grande – Vente size you know the weight of how your coffee is suppose to be.
I have to admit its really IRRITATING when they half ass your coffee. The portion is not even filled up depending on who makes it. Sometimes it filled just perfect but thats only sometimes.
Tip: OPEN YOUR LID WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR HOT COFFEE TO CHECK.!
I've come into the Starbucks at Union Square a couple of times. I usually opt for Panera Bread, since I can also get a decent lunch there, but sometimes I'm just in the mood for a quick drink!
My experiences have always been great, and I've surprisingly always found a space to seat, despite the hustle and bustle of Union Square.
Most notable experience was when I ordered a green tea lemonade but was given a passion fruit tea instead. The barista gave me the other drink for free and made my green tea right after!
Super friendly staff, lots of seating, and clean bathrooms!
Fast service, even when there was a line. The fastest I've probably ever received from a Starbucks. Service wasn't anything great however. Was ignored upon asking a question, and received attitude the 2nd time I asked. Lots of seating and pretty clean.
I've been to this Starbucks a few times if the lines at Barnes & Noble – Starbucks cafe is too long or this is my go-to Starbucks before I hop on the train.
The layout and interior is a little different from other Starbucks in the neighborhood. It's much spacious than most Starbucks I've been too and has a good amount of seating throughout the cafe.
I recently visited this Starbucks while in the city and I noticed they do one thing that other Starbucks haven't done and that's they print out a label with your name, drink, and the size and stick it on your drink.
I must have come at an odd time because everything seemed to go well with my order, the bathroom line, and bathroom cleanliness.
Must be because I am a Yelp Elite and Starbucks Gold member…..
