  1. When I picked up my drink it felt rather light. Come to find out it was only about halfway full.
The whip cream that reached the top of the lid tricked me. After drinking it, I felt empty. It was good though.

  2. I am a little surprised by the horrible ratings at this Starbucks, which is located right across from Bryant Park on 6th Avenue. As far as a Starbucks goes, this place was perfectly mediocre – I went it, picked up something to eat, paid for it, and left the store. The staff didn't go out of their way to provide superb service, but they also weren't rude or inefficient.

I picked up a pre-made Thai-Style Peanut Chicken Wrap for lunch. The container had the wrap sliced into three pieces, a side of peanut sauce, and some green grapes. The wrap had grilled chicken breast tossed in a peanut coconut sauce, topped with a chile-lime veggie slaw, red bell peppers, lettuce and ginger cream cheese. It's wrapped in a chile tortilla. I wished there had been more chicken, but I liked the crunchiness of the slaw. The wrap fell apart too easily. I liked the peanut-coconut sauce, which added a sweet note to the wrap.

  3. Simple and small, this is a counter that has people file in the right and exit left. The placement of the sugar/straws is a little inconvenient for how they rotate people through (you basically have to cut back through the line of people waiting to order).

    Perhaps they'll redesign it later?
