  1. Concept of Stirlicious is pretty great. Might appear to be an upscale version of Chipotle, but everything is made to order and quick and fresh. Standard pricing, although felt the amount of food could've been greater.

I got a chicken bowl with red peppers, jalapenos, half brown rice and half kale/bok chow mix (no extra charge) with the spicy red pepper sauce. Pretty good, but if you're genuinely looking for 'spicy', you'll need to add some additional hot sauce on top of your dish….so grateful for Sriracha.

I was pleased with the service and would go back again to try their different sauces. Definitely check it out if you're in the area and looking for a quick, fresh meal.

  2. I give this place 2 stars for the concept and the overall esthetics of the place.  I wish I could give them more stars.  The staff are helpful and really nice.  However, that's were the buck stops.

My entire meal for my family of four (two adults and two children) costed $42.15.  So for that price I was looking for WOW.  And WOW I was, at the lack of flavor…..  I thought it was just my meal, however, my friend felt the same disappointment.

I ordered shrimp with lemon ginger.  My friend had the spicy red pepper vegan meal.

I think Olga H. summed this place up rather well. Maybe the other 4 star reviewers taste buds require little to no flavoring in their meals but I like to enjoy my money's worth.

So to sum this review up, I won't be back.

  3. Stir fry experts! Asian stir fry fans this is a cool place to get a healthy dish. You get to jot down your ingredients for your personally made stir fry and watch them make it. The teriyaki sauce is the best one of the options you have. I didn't have rice in my stir fry unfortunately however was still pretty good. The shrimps are nice and clean.
The only down side is I feel the portion size does not match what you pay for. A 9.00 dish is a small and it's exactly that, small.
They also offer a detox Lemon, mint water which is delicious. It's natural and no sugar added. It really seems to work as a detox. When I purchased it Stirlicious was running bit low on Ice and they didn't fill the cup all the way.
I still recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. The place looks clean and staff is good.

  4. Honestly, when I first heard about this place I really underestimated just how good the food would be. I figured it'd be some Chipotle knock-off with flavorless food. I'm so happy to be wrong! Unfortunately I've never step foot inside the establishment because the food was bought for me, so I can't really speak to the service or the aesthetics of the place. But I can say that their Pineapple Mango Shrimp bowl is delicious! It includes brown rice, snow peas, mushrooms, red peppers, shrimp, and pineapple mango salsa. On the surface it honestly doesn't sound too interesting, but I was surprised at just how flavorful and satisfying the meal turned out to be. I also got an opportunity to taste the Lemon Ginger Chicken (delicious!), and I'm eyeing the Chimichurri Beef for when I have the opportunity to visit this place myself. The best part about it is that the meal was filling without weighing me down, and healthy without being tasteless. I hope they open more locations!

  5. Right on north avenue in New Rochelle across from Iona college. It's a fairly new restaurant and this is my first time ordering there.

As you enter its very spacious and well kept. I come to find out that you write your order on a sheet and you hand it to the staff. I ordered a salad with shrimp, zucchini and tomatoes. So I noticed that they don't have many salad dressings available. I had to ask them if they had regular oil and vinegar. They were nice to make me my own oil and vinegar dressing.

For about 8 dollars it was a good size salad and it tasted great! It tasted fresh. I didn't feel overwhelmed after the big salad.

This restaurant really focuses on healthy foods and they even offer meal preps for you. You can get more information from the staff. Which is amazing especially for someone with a busy schedule.

They also make stir fry foods which smell and look so tasty! Next time I go there I will order stir fry. They cook everything right there in front of you. Their cleanliness is superb. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

There is also a punch card that if you order 10 meals you get one for free!

There is minimal street parking in front. To be honest it's kind of hard to find parking there. There is a McDonald's lot next door but you may get towed.

This restaurant is great for a fresh healthy meal. They also offer this great detox lemon juice that my friends adore!

  6. Stirlicious has become my go-to spot for tasty, healthy food that's ready in minutes.  The food is so healthy that a few of their dishes line up perfectly with my new weight loss plan, so I'll probably become an even more regular visitor here.

When Stirlicious opened, I walked in and figured it was part of a larger chain since everything seemed to have been very well thought out and organized. Plus, the meals had been developed with an eye to nutrition.  It's not a chain, by the way, but it easily could be.  As for the healthy part, worry not, this is not one of those places where you it's good for you, but the flavor is missing.  The dishes are definitely flavorful.

You can grab a menu card on your way in and make up your own meal in a bowl, salad, or stirrito.  Or if you're not sure what to get, they have several combinations on the menu.  My favorite is the tofu kale pesto.  It's crazy good.  The vegetables are good for you and that pesto just knocks the dish out of the park!  I usually add quinoa and then top it off with sriracha from the condiment bar.  The hummus is a favorite side that I sometimes take home.

Everyone is always friendly and helpful at Stirlicious.  I was going to be out of the area for a bit and I wanted to get a bunch of dishes to take with me.  I just called ahead and it was all ready when I got there.  A nice touch was that the owner, Paul, suggested that I get the sauce on the side so the dishes would not be soggy when I ate them.  Good advice!

Excellent service is a sign of a good business.  Another sign is innovation and trying new things.  While the traditional stir fry bowl is popular, the stirrito and salads were added to add some variety to the menu.  Another plus for regular customers is a punch card that was introduced a few months ago so you can get a free meal once your card is full.

By the way, the food here is not like Chipotle.  It's not a Tex-Mex place and your food is cooked to order in front of you in a wok.  I just say that because I see the comparison has been made a few times in reviews and, as the name implies, Stirlicious is a stir-fry restaurant.

I'm hoping my new food plan is a success.  The best part about it is that, unlike many restaurants, I can still get my meals at Stirlicious and stay right on plan.
