  1. They don't speak English! I tried the chicken here and it was terrible I had to throw it out, i was rooks they have a few good dishes here but I don't speak Russian so I wouldn't know what to order? The pelmeni was good.

  2. Stolovaya has delicious food necessitating many return trips on my part and that of my family.  Their cherry varenniki are a delicacy I recall fondly; the fried potatoes and mushroom dish is solid, as is the dumpling soup.  The only disappointment was the Chicken Kiev, which was dry.  Portions are generous, and prices are more than fair.  The vibe is casual and to-the-point; decor features many tongue-in-cheek Soviet propaganda posters.  If only they had an outpost in ATL…

  3. The food and service here is always pretty good. I am a fan of the authentic Russian cuisine, given that I was brought up in a Russian household, I can appreciate quality Russian food. The servers all speak Russian and are happy to take your order and recommend the fish or meat of the day. The restaurant is small and they are a BYOB friendly kind of place. If you really want the Russian experience, take a bottle of your favorite vodka and get to it!
