Not bad, not great. I had one of the specials, a turkey burger stuffed with Havarti and topped with bacon, lettuce & tomato. It was a good juicy burger but barely had any cheese at all – maybe one bite of cheese. My hubby got the Mac & cheese burger which he enjoyed (I had a bite, better than mine). His fries were also very good but we totally should have gotten the bacon jam fries. Perhaps next time if we give it another shot.
Small place, more for take-out or a quick casual bite.
Update time!
On my 2nd visit here, went with a vanilla milkshake and bacon jam burger with fries.
Fries were still amazing but the shake saddened me especially because of the hefty price. A good milkshake to me entails slurping delicious creamy, semi-thick, rich flavor in every slurp you take and don't want to take your lips off the straw! Thankfully it was not icy but I strongly felt disappointed and pretty much gave up on it. With the bacon jam burger, my only gripe was it was a little to sweet for my buds.
I tried the Turkey Club Burger and it was delicious. The thing that surprised me was that it had cheese filling inside the burger (obviously I didn't read the menu thoroughly haha) but it was so good. Overall, I think this place is perfect if you want a burger but need a healthier option – it is a bit pricey though, about 11 dollars for just the burger.
I wanted to love this place, if for nothing else than the simplicity of the name. But I left with a bit of disappointment. I got a customized burger, with cheddar cheese and bbq sauce on a potato bun– somehow I found the resolve to resist fries and a shake. The burger itself was definitely high quality meat as advertised, good size and cooked as ordered.
The stuffed cheese was underwhelming and didn't pack much flavor, and the bbq sauce was the overly sweet kind rather than the classic type I was craving. The worst part, however, was the bun, which seemed a little stale.
I can see the potential of this place and will give it another shot eventually, but for now — it's a solid "meh".
Very tasty burgers with cheese inside and bacon jam toppings. We find the price expensive, so we look for their coupons and deals. They are moist, different, if expensive. A nice take-out splurge.
I came here once, gave myself enough time to either: a) crave a burger enough to force myself to give them another try; or, b) be coerced into getting another burger from here – but I never went back. The bacon jam burger I had was just okay. The stuffed cheese inside the burger was hardly noticeable by sight or my tastebuds. If anything the brioche bread used for the burger subdued any beef taste but I don't go to a burger joint for the bread, you know what I mean? Also, the bacon jam was a little too sweet for my liking. I ate in, ordered a side of fries and waited…and waited. It was about 15 minutes for a burger and some fries. That realllllly sucks when you're hungry and you watch another table that ordered after you get fries while you continue to wait.
I've had organic, grass-fed burgers before and this is one that just wasn't worth the price tag. I was very underhelmed and left still craving a burger after consuming one (that's the worst!). I was once excited for this place but unfortunately my first experience was my only experience as Stuffed Burgers failed to take me to burger nirvana.
Coming here is always a delight but over the summer someone brilliant decided to come up with one of the THE best burgers I've ever had. The glazed doughnut burger with help from the Montclair bread company which is award winning on its own. My goodness only a genius could come up with such a wonderful burger that leaves me in a euphoric state after having it. The fact that there is a limited quantity by the day makes it even more delicious. Just when I didn't think it could get better – the made always available. When it first came out it was only for July dubbed the America burger. But after realizing what a wonderful creation they had made, it was wisely added to the menu much to my enjoyment. Oh how I love this burger which is how Stuffed, you've gone from great, to GRRRREAT as Tony the tiger would say.
Went to stuffed on lunch with a few coworkers. The place is super small but it has what you need. The menu offers a handful a options but there is always the option to order your own. I made my own, did a beef burger with sauteed mushrooms and all the free stuff that comes with it, lettuce, tomato, onion (up charge of 1.25 for the mushrooms…which seems a little high for the burger size) and Havarti cheese. The burger was good, the bread was fantastic. The burgers are definitely underwhelming in size than I was anticipating. Frankly, I liked that they weren't MASSIVE but it is something to note for the price. Then again, you are getting 'all natural grass fed burger' so the price is arguably fair in that regard. They do offer the burger to be served on a bed of lettuce as well which is a nice touch. Place is good, burger was good I've had better to be honest but I also made my own and didn't order one of their signatures. I'm not sure I can push myself to spend about 12$ on a burger without any sides in the near future though. If you want a good burger that's not going to kill your insides, this is definitely an option. I don't find myself craving burgers often so it might be awhile before I can update you further. Anyway- check em out for yourself!
