Best Crumb-Cake ever.
Even a day later and 3,000 miles away, it's super tasty. Way to go folks! Out here on the West Coast, we can't get a decent bakery to save our lives. Thank goodness for care packages from back East.
They have a delicious German apple crumb cake. All the ingredients are very fresh tasting. Customer service is very friendly. Prices are reasonable.

First off, you need to remember this is NOT an Italian bakery. If your looking for the perfect Italian canolli – let me ask you this – would you go to a Chinese restaurant for shephards pie?….. I hope not….. I repeat this is not an Italian bakery!
This is a German bakery.
I really only went in for a cup of coffee – got sucked into a chocolate crumb something or another with a thin layer of marzipan and then had a donut hole.
I was in heaven for about 30 minutes after eating all the above.
The owners are very dedicated and devoted to making sure they have some of the best goodies around. – plus Tina is an F'ing riot.
I will try to avoid this place as much as possible unless I need to bring something to a special occasion. Their stuff is waaaay too good.
Good bakery. Great crumb cake. Prices are a lot higher than I'm used to in Bayonne, more like NYC prices, but the crumb cakes are worth it.
This rating is for my overall experience including the food. Supposedly, their doughnuts which are made fresh daily but come here after 3pm and they aren't fresh at all. Try the coconut puff, pumpkin crueller, blueberry crueller, and the peanut butter and jelly doughnut.
The crumb buns are .99 cents and also very good. They sell out quick. These are not the same as crumb cake which you can only get in a large size for $12. The cake has more crumbs on tops.
I suggest going earlier rather than later. Everything is made fresh is the morning.
Update: 3 in 5 times I come home with stale doughnuts. The coconut puff tastes different every time I get it. The last time it was dry. I'm not sure why the doughnuts lack consistency but they always do 🙁
