  1. i don't really like subway, but this one had really great service. if out of the 1,000,00,000,0,00,000 subways you need to choose from and youre near here, go here

  2. I rarely eat at Subway, but I was in the mood for a veggie patty and not in the mood to make one myself so I came here.  This Subway is slow as molasses and for that reason they get 2 measly stars.  Also, the guys there barely speak a lick of English and have a hard time understanding what you're even asking for.  I know it's Subway, but still!

  3. Gentrification is ruining the city. Apparently. Obviously. It has two facets.

The second-worst trend is that toward homogenization, which this chain — the largest in the world — nearly embodies. The other trend, surely the very worst, is that toad unsustainable prices, making Union Square et al. unaffordable. Here Subway embodies the opposite trend: food available to most people. It's also not crazy unhealthy — you could do much worse with pasta at a bougey Italian place.

The ultimate conclusion is that the neighborhood is experiencing far worse, in the form of pretentious and tiny paleo servings and Cartier-type boutiques.

Prices here is crazy good! Especially given the location. They've got veggie delites for $5.50, much less than I paid in an expensive neighborhood in the Seattle area (a much less expensive region, generally speaking). It's right around the corner from Union Square, and you just won't find a better place for NYU students, artists, freelancers, and NYU students on a budget.

Note: I didn't say poor. Most NYU students got money, and poor here is a wildly relative term.
