horrific customer service. i called them 45 minutes after getting my seamlessweb confirmation email, which had quoted a 20-35 minute delivery window. The guy who answered the phone said that my apartment was "far." My apartment is 6 blocks and 3 avenues from the restaurant. Anyway, not sure how the distance was relevant, given that he admitted they hadn't even made the food, let alone left the restaurant. He said it would be "another 20 minutes." That would make it 65 minutes to deliver, at least twice what they promise. Needless to say, cancelled and called seamlessweb to get a full refund.
Subways is cheap and filling, just the way I like it! Came here for a quick dinner after visiting gramps at Mt Sinai hospital. This is your usual no fuss Subways. I love how the green peppers were fresh and snappy just the way I like em.
Super small Subway. Very limited seating and it's packed with students and hospital workers. There are a few other places to eat around Mount Sinai Hospital but Subway is definitely the cheapest place. You really can't go wrong with a $5 foot long. Their service is pretty fast but make sure they get it right because they tend to mess up on your orders during their busy lunch hours.
Mmmm they don't really a-speaka the Subway language.
One star from the building not being randomly on fire, another star for walking out of there with edible food.
Otherwise, trying to get what I want is an unbelievably trying experience where I must explain my choices in an inordinate amount of detail, especially for something sandwich related.
It's a good thing I wanted that toasted…because you didn't even ask.
How many tomatoes come on a sandwich? 3. Double tomatoes = 4, More tomatoes = 1 more. I like veggies on my sandwich and it is a pain to get more than a sprinkle of them.
Sometimes when I get back to work my sandwich has fallen apart, as if the ingredients were fighting against the wrapper and the bag, attempting some sort of escape on to Madison Avenue.
This is a service business and…service ain't that good.
The other day the lady in front of me said "you know, you make terrible sandwiches. Every time I come in. Terrible." Ha.
