No I don't want the sandwich, drink and dessert combo set… I just want one 6" meatball sandwich puleeeze. I felt like I was at a car dealership being hustled to add options to a car yet I only wanted to spend $3 for the Sunday meatball deal. I just had to keep smiling and keep refusing and finally gave in and bought a pack of 3 cookies.
The young Indian man cut his finger while he was making my sandwich and oh dude… no blood topping please. Me no vampire.
It was a rare visit to New York and I won't go back to this location anytime in this life. Better off to head to the $1 pizza spot nearby.
Solid Subways location that doesn't get very crowded during the lunch hours. The staff of 4 are nice but have a thick Indian accent that make it a bit difficult to understand sometimes. The meats and vegetables are fresh and they do a good job making sandwiches efficiently.
A random tidbit: I did get 4 napkins when the de facto standard is usually 2 napkins with a Footlong sandwich.
It's a subway – but this one is pretty grotty inside – trash can overfowing – and leaking liquid. Restroom is broken (permanently out of order) and probably filthy if you got to ever see it.
We came here out of sheer desperation (I actually ate next door at the Indian place – whose restroom was also, curiously "out of order") while my husband and picky-eater kid insisted on turkey subs.
Subway – eat not-so-fresh.
why do i keep subjecting myself to trash foods?
ugh….subway..in the city, really shibi. if it wasnt snowing. but seriously. like the meat is so salty, the bread is so doughey and the entire experience of getting it (which literally involves me walking 25 steps outside the crib, so ud think it would be a breeze) is depressing.
lunch is supposed to be an oasis in the day. not a trip to purgatory. sorry tummy. ill treat you better tomorrow.
