Smoothies are pretty good and the Chef's salad is the BOMB! I mean it's AMAZING! I never ate inside, I usually pick up or get the food delivered but seriously, try the salad!
I haven't had anything except salads here, and they were fresh enough and generous enough. My complaint is about the service. It's really hard to get attention. There are definitely enough waitstaff, but they always seem to be acting as if they're overburdened, and nobody admits to being your particular server. I've had to tap servers on the arm to get them to pause at my table, and then they act like they're doing me a favor. I guess they have their regulars and favorites, and infrequent customers don't rate? I don't bother stopping in there at all anymore when I'm doing errands on Kings Highway.
my favorite place for lunch on the highway. the dishes are expensive, but the portions are enormous, so it evens out. I recommend a haloumi salad or any of their paninis. if you're a chocolate lover, their cake is really good. it's a rich lava cake served with ice cream.
The Sunflower Cafe offers its patrons a multitude of menu choices at a very affordable price. The breakfast menu is extensive and its serving size is more than adequate. The restaurant also provides side selections that offer a bonus to the wide selections that are available. Many locals visit this restaurant and it is conveniently located just off king's highway.
Sunflower is the equivalent of the run off the mill diner with the exception of being kosher.
I've ordered from here and met friends here plenty of times and my experiences are consistently OK.
I'd rate the food at a nice 5.5 and service at a 6. I do like their shakshuka when they do it right. Many times I'd ask for the eggs to be runny, only to see it come to my table cooked fully. I hate that. I get that some people don't understand soft poached eggs, but I do and it annoys me when one does not cook it right. I like that they give huge portions but that does serve the high prices they charge.
I also like that they are willing to substitute orders which is a plus for them. But overall they don't do anything different and amazing to make them stand out.
Parking can be an annoyance but a couple of spins around the block will get you a spot.
the food here is so so good. the portions are great for the prices, very healthy and fresh. I love the tomato soup and salads! you will definitely be full and satisfied, service is great too! outdoor seating is a plus
Came here with a friend for a cup of coffee and some apps. Good service and good food. This place is usually jammed with waiting room only, so I was pleased to be seated quickly. Food was fresh and tasty, coffee was good as well.
