“I usually get the roast pork buns and coffee, or steamed pork buns if they have any left.”

“$1 for 4 steamed dumplings, $2 sticky rice, $1 different selection of bread, etc. I've been coming here Monday to Friday for the past three weeks.”

  1. Stopped in a number of times on my way home. I am addicted to Coconut Creme rolls. The coffee is not bad and they have plenty of selections of desserts to go with tea also. There is plenty of seating or if you are in a rush to catch a train this place does the job. So it is a nice addition to the neighborhood.

  2. Very interesting Chinese bakery. Living in BL near 8AV was a sweet accident. I love egg tarts there. They had bubble tea and coffee. Very typical and nice shop. Will visit next time.

  3. My coworker got me hooked in this place. She comes in everyday to work with an iced tea, freshly baked bread, and steamed buns from here.  The best part is everything is inexpensive.  $1 for 4 steamed dumplings,  $2 sticky rice, $1 different selection of bread, etc. I've been coming here Monday to Friday for the past three weeks. What can I say, I'm addicted.

  4. They make a great cup of coffee and it's so incredibly inexpensive. I am not a sweets person, but their desserts look delicious. The basic egg sandwich is good.

I usually just pop in for a cup of coffee and I am on my way. It's consistently good. They don't have regular cream, instead they use a "light" or fat free version of half and half which I tend to avoid. Those "lite" versions tend to compensate with less than desirable ingredients.

Bottom line: a decent cup of coffee (small) for about .90 cents.

  5. Such a convenient location for any person living in Bay Ridge. Great spot to grab a quick bite to eat if you are on the go, but they have plenty of seating in the bakery if you choose to sit in.

They have plenty of dessert and breads. They also serve hot food like chow fun or tamales. I like getting there roast pork bun and egg tarts. Their milk tea is a good drink to get as well. All for a really cheap price. Best times to get these are in the morning, when the breads are fresh and smells good.

Around 6 PM, they will sell the breads and pastries for a discounted price.

    Happy Cheap Eatings.
