After a long day of going without any good kosher grub, my stomach was rumbling, but at midnight, options are limited. You don't want to go to bed hungry, you want something delicious and a little different, but you also don't want to eat too much before bed. GrubHub directed me to Sushi Tokyo, and I realized I have a Yen for sushi (pun intended). I ordered a variety of vegetarian rolls and the Moroccan cigars. Everything was delicious, and they sent an ample amount of sweet soy syrup and spicy mayonnaise. The cigars were well-seasoned and crispy, the fried onion roll was like a Japanese French's onion casserole, the sweet potato avocado tempura roll was crunchy and not one bit greasy, and the Gorgeous Roll, with portabello, avocado, asparagus, avocado, and cashews was perfection on my palate. Everything was fresh, delicious, and arrived promptly. I will definitely order again.
Yelp summed it up best "Meh. I've experienced better". The sushi arrived warm upon delivery and just didn't have that fresh taste that I can normally expect from places in the area.
I don't know maybe it was a one-off I just wasn't too impressed with the order.
