I only had dinner here once, but from my experience it was reasonably priced and delicious. I ordered calamari and chicken teriyaki and loved it. My friend ordered sushi rolls, which were delicious too.
When I first dined at this restaurant I was impressed. The sushi tasted good. The Kelman roll is delicious, there is no denying it. The sushi for three is a great treat for two hungry people. But after dining here several times we started noticing some problems. On more than one occasion the sushi tasted off. The spicy tuna rolls were fishy. This happened every so often until we gave up and stopped dining here.
Not the best sushi I've ever had but definitely the biggest table I've ever sat at to have sushi in a sushi place. Usually those places are packed and cramped (see Kotobuki). Here, you've got lots of room and pretty quick service. The sushi is fresh enough but not "tastes like you scooped it up from the ocean" fresh, the way I usually like it. Not that I like scooping stuff out of the ocean and sticking it in my mouth. I'm more of a stay on the sand and adjust my bikini kind of girl. I suppose this is now way off topic so I'll stop here.
