  1. Love the fact the yogurt places are mushrooming around where I live.  Sweet Orange is a great alternative from the long line at Red Mango.  Same system, you pick your yogurt flavor and also the toppings, they weigh it and voila!

I think their style is more similar to Pinkberry, a little more on the sour side which I prefer as well.  Love the Ras-Pom flavor.  The cashier inside is always happy and helpful!  Leaving to get one soon!!!

  2. There is a tall Asian man here who might be the owner, and boy is he a strange fish. I got him the second (and last) time I went here. He sprang out from the back because the girl had given me a sample and returned to behind the counter. Rather than go get her again, I started to help myself to another sample. (I worked in yogurt shop for two weeks, I can handle a handle) Granted, he didn't know that. Out he came, with a clatter. He must be watching people through the cracks in the wall.

At this point it was all still fine with me. He had a strange demeanor to him and the way he talked was kind of slurred and murmuring. But how much do you need to talk to pump yogurt? I asked for another flavor and he got it. When he handed me the sample, he sprang his hand back like he was afraid to touch me. How strange, I thought. I didn't love that flavor either, so I was about to ask him for a third when he cut in, irritated, "This is the last one!"

I was a little thrown off by this, so I just randomly chose something near me. And sure enough I didn't like it. By now I was just distracted by him. Because of the way he sprang back the first time, I paid more attention to the interaction the second time. Our fingers did touch for a split-second. I noticed his hands were slightly unclean. They needed to be scrubbed with a brush under the nails. I was a little offended that he didn't want to touch my hand. I swear there is nothing wrong with me. If anything I should have been a little averse to him– he had a clammy, golum-esque quality to him. And he should have worn gloves.

Needless to say, I walked out of there. I'm sure that man has some strengths and perhaps even some great talents. However, interacting with people in a yogurt store is not one of them.
