This is now one of my favorite places to get my sweet tooth fix, definitely one of the little gems hidden away in Long Island. I will definitely return and spread the news about you guys. Plus the customer service was awesome!!!
Checked out this small Lynbrook bakery's offerings and sampled three, presented best to worst.
1) Chocolate & Raisin Bread Pudding – our favorite item – would return just for it.
2) A "cronut" croissant / donut hybrid dipped in chocolate with vanilla pudding filling. – tasty but odd. Vaguely baklava-like crust, slightly oily bottom. Mediocre overall.
3) Chocolate Blackout Muffin – a disappointment. dry. frosting was not good. didn't care for it.
My town is severely lacking in dessert-only shops. Sometimes you don't want dessert right after dinner or you want a change of scenery. Finally, we can have that with Sweet Serendipity.
Sweet Serendipity has both delicious and beautifully handcrafted cakes. I had the Charlie Chaplin which was just too cute to resist (see picture).

Amazing! From start to finish, Marina was an absolute joy to work with. She is the sweetest more attentive professional I have ever encountered. I am a bit of a control freak, but we made me feel very much at ease and I trusted her every step of the way. She made me a beautiful, girly, makeup themed cake for my 25th birthday which fed 45 guests. It was beautiful and delicious, highly recommend Sweet Serendipity!
