If there's one thing this guy knows, it's authentic Jamaican food (I've seen Cool Runnings, twice). Sweets & Treats is a hodgepodge of deliciousness. They have Ice cream, popcorn, baked goods, homemade juices, and yup- Caribbean foods.
I can only speak on the Jamaican bites- they are my jam. Their patties ($2) and my mouth are as good a combo as Bob Marley and my ears. They are flavorful all on their own, but they have a Calypso sauce that really adds a nice kick to the existing flavor. They also have some pretty authentic soups, like Cow Foot and Manish Wata- which I thought was what was leftover in the tub after I shower; hopefully it tastes just as good.
So don't be a jerk, or a chicken if you're in the hood- Pree dis spot, and errytang gon be irie. Big Up!!
