Wow. Just wow. I've been hitting up the food trucks lately at WFC since there is nowhere else to eat in the building anymore, and this, bar far, is the best one I have sampled.
I had the steak, chicken, and pork tacos, all with the hottest sauce they have (forget the name) and the chipotle crema. Each taco was better than the next. The steak, while still great, was my least favorite of the three. Each taco was super flavorful, and the spicy sauce had a legit kick to it.
Give it a go… I promise, you will like this one.
Long lines from noon. About 15 minute wait. I have ordered here a few times, usually the platter. The food is not memorable in any way, but it is more than enough for lunch. And the price is pretty good at $9.00.
Their burritos are the size of a new born baby!
I ordered a loaded chicken burrito with chipotle crema and avocados. All this came out to $6! Doesn't get cheaper than that in midtown. My burrito was loaded with lots of meat, I can't believe I'm saying this but I wish there was some more veggies in there to balance it out.
Had to knock a star off for the 30 min wait!
for some odd reason they decided to come to the WAHE! dont know why but good for me. normally for lunch they stick to 5th ave? got to try some of the best burritos in the city. theres not much competition though, maybe chipotle? but thats not authentic. the service was awesome. came when they were still setting up so came back 20 minutes later and he remembered me and was super nice. had the al pastor with pineapple chunks. super flavorful. loaded it with all sides like black beans, rice, the usual. two sauces i chose were mango salsa and avocado. a little spicy, but not unbearable. the burrito was good size for $7. filled me up. the only bad part was it wasnt evenly distributed. the top was mainly rice and beans. then the middle and bottom was moreso meat. the sauce, one bite was potent and the other bite was bland. dunno how they made it and rolled it up. i wish it was more evenly distributed. if it were equal then id give it a five star. until then you only get a 4. cash only like most of the food trucks.
loved it. huge portions, and cheap prices. short lines as they serve you really fast.
Needed some kind of sauce on the side but didnt get it. they instead put it in the food.
wish i had the option of doing that myself..
