This is my first time in Flushing, and this restaurant is definitely located in Mexican town. I'm not surprised that it has very little reviews, because it is a hole in the wall, mom and pop type of shop. But honestly in my opinion, these are the best types of Mexican restaurants. The food and flavors are authentic and you get a great meal for the little amount of money you spend.
The chicken enchilada plate came with three enchiladas smothered in verde sauce as well as a side of rice and beans. Truthfully, I'm not a fan on enchiladas, but I couldn't stop eating these. The sauce was the best part and you could tell it don't come out of a can!
We also ordered two tacos, one with chorizo and the other with al pastor. The chorizo was recommended by our waitress and it was my favorite. It had just the right amount of heat and was so flavorful.
