  1. I'm so glad I gave this truck a shot. I've seen it out of the corner of my eye so many times, but since there's never a line, I didn't think to try it until yesterday. It's now going to be my go to taco spot while at work. It's by no means the best tacos in New York, but it'll do for weekday lunch. There are usually construction workers ordering in Spanish, def a good sign.

Tacos are either 3 or 3.50 with a good variety of meats to choose from. Al Pastor was decent, carnitas not so much. Good portion sizes, and each taco comes with some toppings and salsa verde on 2 corn tortillas like the way god intended. They also have tortas, cemitas, tostadas, sopes, quesadillas, and burritos.

  2. Every weekday afternoon until about 3pm, Tacos Morelos parks on Wall Street on either side of Pearl Street. I've been eating here for almost 2 years now, and recently I've become obsessed. For tacos, they're great, fresh corn tortillas, flavorful tender meats, delicious salsas and toppings. For burritos and tortas and enchiladas, they're pretty good, as well. But what I love most are their huaraches, holy crap they're delicious, and an excellent filling option for a mere $5. Mmm, cecina!

  3. Unfortunately, this truck drops down to 3 stars for me. They changed up their ingredients a bit and it just doesn't have the same appeal. They also stopped carrying their large corn tortillas for their quesadillas. That was the best thing on their menu and it was the corn tortilla that did it for me. It was lightly pan fried in oil and left on the grill to give it just enough of a crunch on the outside, but warm and soft in the inside. Now they only serve flour tortilla and I'm so sad that I didn't even have a chance to properly pay my respects to the corn tortilla quesadilla and enjoy it the way it deserved to be savored. Farewell, you will be dearly missed!

  4. Pretty decent Mexican food truck in FiDi. There are several taco options to choose from in the area but because of the proximity of this one to my office I usually grab here.

I've had the burrito and the quesadilla both were very good. I liked the burrito a lot better than Chipotle. I got the chorizo and it was very good and plenty of food for $8.50. The quesadilla was very tasty, I highly recommend the spicy chicken, solid! It was a bit messy and they didn't give a knife, no big deal. The quesadilla will cost ya $8, not bad for the area.

Tacos are bit overpriced if you ask me at $3.50 and they look a bit puny especially when the other taco truck across the street has them for $2. But burrito wise, this is a good spot. You can also get salad or bowls on top of Tortas, etc.

Overall a solid truck that is quick and tasty.  Cash only, I'm sick of explaining that to Todd the recent college grad from Wall St.
