  1. My bf and I love this place. Our favorite things are beef fried rice, popcorn chicken spicy and non spicy, pork chop over rice and Taiwanese sausage. I'm I glad it's right by the train so I can order take out before going home. They close on Thursdays and only 2 people there speak English.

  2. 3.25 Stars

A counter to order from and kitchen space in the back of a small food court. There are some tables and chairs in front to sit.

I liked the garlic pig intestines which were braised, soft, and easy to chew. They came with some slivers of ginger but I didn't taste any garlic at all.

The soup of the Taiwan beef noodle soup was pretty good – it was savory, salty, a little touch of spicy, a bit oily, and maybe msg-laden. I didn't care for the beef and the noodles were white and ordinary. There also weren't much garnishes in the soup.

The stinky tofu had the right stinky smell and were deep-fried to a decent consistency. There was a bit of pickled cabbage but I didn't like the soysauce based dipping sauce (there seemed like too much high-fructose corn syrup in it, the color was translucent.)

This place was okay but not somewhereI would really think of coming back to. Perhaps I should have tried the popcorn chicken?

  3. The stall is located all the way in the back! There famous Popcorn Chicken is *Ok* nothing special, especially for $4.99 only chicken or $6.99 w/rice. It taste like majority of the popcorn chicken spots all over Main Street or in any ViVi Bubble Tea Shop!

I always enjoy authentic Taiwanese Street Food… A Taiwanese Pork Burger or some Taiwanese Sausage over rice yummy. Overall this spot is Average w/ limited indoor seating. No Street Parking! No Standing Signs Everywhere!

  4. Kind of underwhelming,

The beef noodle soup isn't bad but pales in comparison to versions I've had in LA and the Bay Area. The first things I noticed were that it didn't include pickled vegetables, and the beef was sliced instead of in chunks. I really wish Flushing still had a Liang's Kitchen, which made my favorite beef noodle soup in California.

The gua bao was decent but not especially memorable – people rave about it on Yelp but I couldn't taste the difference from Super Taste's in Manhattan Chinatown. While it is an entirely different preparation style, Ippudo still makes the most succulent, crave-worthy pork buns in the city.

  5. The mala stir fry – a good healthy selection of meats & veggies – they are pretty liberal because they know you're paying by the pound, so be specific and you can tell them not as much of certain things. No lamb, though, sadly.

Small spicy wasn't as spicy at other places, and the sauce lacked something… it was not pepper-y ma-la as you'd expect. Still, probably better for my stomach that it's not that spicy.

  6. Came here one weekend for lunch. Our goal is to try every food stand within this food court, this is trial #2. We ordered #5 and #7, and stinky tofu. We asked for mild spiciness and it came just right. It wasn't overly spicy. Our food was excellent. There lots of ingredients and everything was tasty. Broth wasn't overly salty. We ordered the stinky tofu so we could get the free dish but they gave us fried tofu as our free dish. We should have asked if we could have gotten the salted chicken. Their portions are generous. You'll definitely be full if not stuffed. The stinky tofu was good. I don't usually eat stinky tofu but theirs was lightly fried and it didn't have that overpowering aroma. From my experience, it's been very hard to find stinky tofu. If you do want it, this is a good place to get it from. Until I find better, this will be the go to place.

Overall, this is a good place and would recommend it.

  7. Great selection of Taiwanese food and super tasty. Well worth the wait.

  8. Pretty standard Taiwanese fare for fair prices. Their beef tomato dish is cooked in their own style, and you have to specify if you want them to add egg. Expect a lot of Choy and sprouts in it. Portions are on the generous side. Take to go…limited seating that's always on the dirtier side.
