Taipei Noodle House
“This is a good, solid Chinese restaurant here, with the added advantage of having a good Vietnamese menu and a reasonable sushi menu.”
“So we order Hunan Shrimp, Lo Mein, fried rice, General Tso dishes.”
“Like others have said, they also offer a gamut of East-Asian cuisines, but the Taiwanese menu selections are the way to go.”

This spot has some good beef noodle soup! It has a homey, unassuming type feel. I went straight to the home made cut beef noodle soup on the Taiwanese menu. The noodles are homemade and the pieces vary in size. Some are thicker but they all taste great. The beef is also tender and the soup has good flavor.
Their passion bubble tea is also solid.
Overall this place is real good and would definitely be back!
As someone who has loved sushi since three, this is a great local place. I prefer to dine there but delivery/ take out is good as well. The wait staff is courteous and they even have a koi fish tank (great for kiddies.) I like their Japanese food, they have Chinese and Thai too. Good place for families.
The service is prompt and quick, which I always appreciate. The prices are nice and cheap for what you get.
They have an array of Asian food, which worries me sometimes because then they don't have a specialty. The decor wasn't anything great, if anything, may need an update.
Though the food was alright (not out of this world delicious) and if you want a quick meal, it's not a bad spot to hit up.
Three stars for consistency and being a little different and better than the average Chinese take-out. It's primarily a Taiwanese restaurant but also has Japanese and Vietnamese items on the menu. The sushi was surprisingly good – the yellowtail sushi and tuna avocado roll both tasted fresh. Sichuan filet mignon didn't have much kick, but the beef was incredibly tender and well-cooked. The pho with chicken was aggressively oversalted, and their specialty Da Chien chicken was unremarkable. There aren't really any other Taiwanese restaurants in this area, and Taipei Noodle House is a decent Chinese/Japanese option whose dishes aren't nearly as greasy as standard take-out.
I'm only giving it a 3 star since this place makes their food pretty salty….so ask for less salt if you're not accustomed to salty food. We ordered the fried spicy shrimp with the shell still intact, vegetable dishes, and a tofu dish (all somewhat on the saltier side). However, they have by far one of the best "dao shiao mien" that I've had in a long time. Those are the freshly made noodles that they just cut so they're thicker than normal noodles, but very soft and chewy. I'd say only stick to that if you go to Taipei Noodle House – We had the beef noodle soup and the dry seafood noodle…both made very well.
I'm not sure why positive reviews are accompanied by 3-stars for Taipei Noodle House. They're easily one of the better Taiwanese restuarants (and those are hard to find) in the immediate Bergen County area. Authentic home cooking (not Chinese take-out) but a family who has been operating this restaurant for more than ten years.
I never order from the Japanese/Vietnamese menus so I cannot vouch for the food, but the Taiwanese dishes are on point and portions are always generous. Service is always attentive.
We order from them at least 2-3 times a month and have never been disappointed.
Not good at all, even for someone who loves cheap Chinese food.
I went for the Chinese food, and left with nasty stomach cramps. The food was mediocre at best. I managed to eat since I was starving, but my guest ate nothing since he was a bit pickier than me. The food was extra greasy and the decor felt like a grimy place in the middle of the city. I won't be back.
