“I've ordered delivery a few times, and it always arrives very fast and is DELICIOUS.”
“I guess I should start this post by saying the I finally made a Yelp account just to give this place props.”
“Great food plus BYOB (apparently they used to sell beer and wine but do not any longer) definitely makes this a go-to place for Indian food in Crown Heights.”

Used Seamless for their delivery discount, but I'm torn about whether I'll order from them again. On the plus side, the papadum and naan were really delicious. But the vegetable samosas had a strange aftertaste and some weird, hard things in them that I had to spit out — not sure if it was not cooked all the way or what. The entrees were good, but not great. I think Pearl does have better portions. Unfortunately, a pretty average experience (but I still liked them more than Bombay).
Indian restaurants in the Prospects Heights/Bedstuy are always tough to gauge. For some reason everyone alway orders Indian food for delivery so the dining areas are Usually empty. Feeling a need to fill In my Naan craving I decided to give this place a shot.
Started with the vegetable samosa of the lunch special. There were only 2 but not was a great start. My main dish was a chicken curry with white rice. Not spicy (as requested) but lots of flavor.
Dine in service was very good. As expected there was no one else in the small restaurant, so the waitress was right there If we needed anything. No the decor is good for a date night ( only if you don't want a second date) but the service and food drum up no complaints.
Despite the bad reviews, I tried this place the other day and I really liked it. I called in my order and went in to pick it up. The guy working there was friendly and efficient. The food itself was delicious. They didn't ask me if I wanted spicy or medium and the food turned out to be very spicy. It's okay because I like spicy, but it would be a problem for someone not used to eating hot peppers. The only complaint I would have is that the vindaloo was missing the typical tangy sourness that vindaloo is supposed to have. It was good, but just tasted like some regular curry.
This place is the tits. The best Chana Saag, everrrrrrr.
