“Not just the quick delivery or the cheap prices or the consistently decent food.”
“I have to say I normally hate the egg foo young my boyfriend gets at other places, but I liked it here because their gravy sauce was much more flavorful.”
“Tasty King has a thorough vegetarian menu and I wish they never go out of business like most family owned businesses in the East Village.”

If you live in Stuyvesant Town or Peter Cooper Village and you like greasy Americanized Chinese food, this is place to get it. You might think that's a negative connotation but seriously you cannot beat the price and you know exactly what you're getting with this. Sometimes, greasy Chinese food is what you want, and they have it down to a science. Instead of ordering Chinese from Seamless, we end up always ordering pickup from here because it ends up being cheaper, and we've never been let down.
All the prices include tax and are often rounded off so calculations when splitting between people are easy. I often order pickup, so then you don't need to tip. Ultimate cheapskate, but that's what it is.
My roommate always gets the General Tso's Combo with egg roll and pork-fried rice. I usually go for the dumplings, which are huge and are big enough for a meal in themselves. If not, I usually get the Singapore Mei Fun, which is spicy and loaded with veggies and pork. We often order at least $15, which gets us a free egg roll or soda.
Come/order from here for the price and quantity, maybe not the quality.
