I stopped in after dinner, didn't even know they opened up here! Looks like any other tbaar, but more spacious. It's kinda quiet in the area, so I'm glad there's a bubble tea option now. Quick and friendly service. Pudding milk tea for the win! =)
I came here after a few times stopping by and wanting to try it. I remember this place opening actually, but didn't go in for some reason. I wish I had because I believe there was some kind of discount at the time. Either way, my review:
I ordered a small honeydew milk tea with tapioca. It's clearly made with powder but I don't necessarily hate that. It's a pretty nice flavour, albeit artificial tasting, not overwhelmingly so. Their tapioca is on the smaller side, which I totally enjoy. They have great flavour and they add enough for you to have a bit with every sip. My small milk tea was $3 which is a breath of fresh air after having so much overpriced bubble tea in manhattan. I don't come to this area very often because it's quite the trek from Bed Stuy, but I'll be sure to treat myself to something at TBaar every time I find myself here.
