  1. Had the lunch specials here a few times, pretty decent sushi, Katsu was a little bit dry the times that I ate it.  I enjoyed the Uni they had here, but often times they would be out of it .  The Sweet Shrimp was also very good.

  2. Best delivery sushi I've had so far in the Slope. I had a spicy crunchy salmon roll, king salmon sashimi, and the sushi platter. It all came earlier than the Seamless estimate! Beautifully presented, fresh, classy sushi. Would definitely work for a party. Loved the brown rice, which was dark purple and gorgeous. Nothing super blew me away, though, at least this order! I'll have to try it again to see if it can get up to 5 stars, maybe with a specialty roll…

  3. Ten Japanese Cuisine makes really good home made sushi. There is a large selection of rolls to choose from. The restaurant ambiance is on point and the place is always full of patrons, always a good sign.

    Will be back soon.

  4. Came here for a quick lunch after visiting a friend's house. The restaurant is nicely arranged, with dark gray granite tables and chairs. I ordered a very simple lunch; edamame, miso soup, and a spicy tuna roll. I didn't like how they charged me extra for extra edamame, when it already came with my sushi. The food was good, very fresh, which is what I prefer when I eat raw fish. The place had a nice quiet environment and good service, but the pricing was a little over the top- I have seen better priced sushi at good qualities.

  5. Full house on a Friday night. We were immediately greeted and seated then warm cloths for our hands AND the waiter put our napkins in our laps!

Warm mushroom salad lacked truffle oil that was described on menu but was good. Duck spring rolls have little to NO duck in them. Tempura came out fresh fried and hot, big pieces with good dipping sauce.  You can mix and match what kind of pieces you want.

Sushi portions are big, fish was fresh.  My "perfect match roll" was topped with way too many fried onions.

  6. I find it strange that Ten has such a mediocre rating (update: it's up to 3.5 stars). It's by far the best sushi place in all of South Slope, with consistently fresh sushi and sashimi. I'd recommend for everyone to pay a few extra bucks and not to go anywhere else. It's really worth it.

  7. I walked into this place not knowing what to expect since it was pretty empty when we walked in but quickly filled up. This is a very kid friendly place so the overall noise level was pretty loud. I'm torn between 4 or 3 stars but the overall service did not wow me so they get a 3. I had the house seaweed salad, this consisted of your basic seaweed plus mango and an amazing citrous dressing. The pork gyoza was pretty good and I had some basic rolls which were also good and not packed full of rice. The service was just ok, not the friendliest but just nice enough. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back especially for their lychee soda.

  8. I'm spoiled with good quality/ low price sushi from Sheepshead Bay so I always feel jipped. Too pricey for my taste: 4 rolls, rock shrimp appetizer, and 2 cocktails came out to $70 bucks. Ouch.

It was yummy and drinks were great but it was our first stop before a night of barhopping and really would have rather spent that money on more drinks for the bday girl..
