Texas de Brazil
“The house sirloin and lamb chops were my favorite the server also came to give us sugar banana and mashed potatoes which was great.”
“They also can cook the meat to your preference ie well done, medium rare, medium well(standard).”
“At the table, were were served cheese rolls- more cheese than starch, buttery mash potatoes and sweet fried bananas (not plantains or maduros).”

High quality Food & service. Everything is a bit over salted but still tasty. Very attentive waitstaff & management. Come hungry!
3.5 Stars
I can't move, I'm too full! That said, the concept of all-you-can-eat churrascaria always sounds better before the meal, and it's always a lot of meat.
This is a nice location inside a bit more elegant than Cheesecake Factory, yet people are very casual.
The salad bar is good enough, there's the usual offerings, cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, mozzarella balls, cheese shavings and salami slices, asparagus spears, portobello in balsamic, sliced tomato, potato salad, cous cous etc.
I didn't try much of the warm items though tonight there was lobster bisque, potato au gratin, rice, and feijoada.
Most of the meat that came out was medium cooked and tasted decent. (The pieces that were well cooked were a bit dry.) There was piranha, chicken wrapped with bacon, lamb chop, beef rib, garlic sirloin.
I thought the complimentary bolinhos de quiejos and sugared plaintains were among the best items I ate. The garlic mashed potatoes were good too, though very filling.
Overall, excellent, attentive service from the servers. But I recommend only coming here rarely as it is alot of meat at once (copious, copious amounts!) (I ate a whole plate of vegetables at the end to cleanse my palate.)
Be prepared and hungry this place is really good and if you are a meat lover it is heaven for you. But there is a key to eating here and not getting full fast number one do not go for the salad bar it is nice but you are not here for salad. They will begin by bring you the lesser choices of meat first because it is the cheapest for them hold off on that the sausage is amazing and then they start bringing you the filet mignon and skirt steak which is truly cooked to perfection. The drinks they have are also great and if you have enough room for dessert they are truly to die for.
I went here for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (who else didn't know this existed?!) Well now you know. Apparently, a number of fancy restaurants in Westchester participate in this amazing deal (~$21 for lunch, $30 for dinner). There's nothing I like than to prance around a fancy restaurant pretending I can afford it…
Skip to the actual meal, and my group arrived here all dressed to the nines. The restaurant is a part of the Ridge Hill Mall, and the interior is large and grand. Dark walls, low lights, and a vast dining room with meat servers scurrying about slicing meat here and there.
Before this, I had never been to a churrascaria before. However, the grand salad station complete with multiple veggies (useful to cleanse palate) and the delicious meats everywhere made a great new experience. This place is a 4.5 stars, with the service and the meat carving fantastically done (seems like a dangerous job). All of the meats I requested were juicily carved in front of me and fell upon my plate in the most graceful manner, waiting to be devoured.
0.5 stars off for the saltiness that is left on your palate from over consuming salted meats. Not able to enjoy much after having hit that salt threshold. Also, my party paid $30 each for our meals since we were aware of the deal. However, everyone around us seemed to pay $50++++$$$$$…which I thought was a bit unfair. A restaurant ought to publicize the deals they participate in.
For the longest time, Texas de Brazil was the only restaurant in Ridge Hill I hadn't tried, so I was excited to finally eat here tonight.
As the name (kind of) suggests, this is a (chain) Brazilian steakhouse. The look of the restaurant emulates that steakhouse feel – there's low lighting and dark wood tones matched with lighter granite and tablecloths. Upon entry there's an impressive wall filled with wine bottles which also serves as an impressive accent wall separating the dining room from the vestibule.
Like most Brazilian steakhouses, Texas de Brazil is set up as all-you-can-eat. Each person is given a circular token with one side being red and the other being green. If your green side is up, servers will walk around offering you a variety of meats on skewers. If you are finished eating you can put the red side up and they won't offer you anymore.
The meat was good, I especially enjoyed the Brazilian sausage and the filet mignon wrapped in bacon. Most meats are cooked medium rare and salted to taste, though you can request the meat to be cooked differently or without salt. In addition to the strolling meats, there's an impressive salad bar which also has a couple of hot sides and soup. They also serve these awesome cheese rolls at the table plus sides of mashed potatoes and plantains.
Service was good – everyone was really friendly. I'm kind of on the fence with Brazilian steakhouses in general, I don't necessarily dislike them but I don't crave meat enough to go to them regularly. Regardless, Texas de Brazil delivered on service and food which warrants praise – great job!
Really nice place for a large group. I was very surprised by the interior and overall ambiance of the restaurant. I went here with a large group f 16. When I made the reservation I worked with the manager. She was friendly and helpful. The day of they called to confirm. Everyone was happy with the meat and salad bar choices. I especially like the Parmesan encrusted chicken wings. The wait staff did a nice job helping all of us. They also allowed us to use our coupons. Nice work!
went on a Friday night for a family gathering and my family and i had such a great time. Since it was a friday night it was pretty busy, but since we had a reservation, we got seated with no wait.
the interior was very gorgeous and fancy, and the ambiance was fabulous!
the salad bar had a wide selection of fruits, soup, cheese, salad, cold cut and sauce(like chimichuri and jelly). along with our meal came the brazilian cheese bread, mashed potato and caramelized plantains- the plantains were to die for, we loved it- and our waiter never let those dishes empty.
when it comes to the meat, they served top sirloin, lamb, chicken, sausage and etc, and everything was very tasty and juicy(just perfectly cooked). all i have to say is their food was excellent. our plates were never empty since the meat kept coming on by.
we had chocolate cake, cream brulee and pecan pie for dessert and they were pretty good.
overall, it was a great experience and you will love this place if you are a meat lover 🙂
Very interesting the place. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very upscale and decorated beautifully. It is pricy $49.99 per person to eat here not including drinks or dessert. The quality of the meat is very good. It is all you can eat so servers will keep piling meat onto your plate until you say stop. The ribs, steak, lamb and beef were delicious. Definitely my faves. There was a big variety of meat. You can tell some were better than others. I wasn't a big fan of the lamb or chicken. Was a little flavorless and dry, which disappointed me because those were two of the meats I was most interested in having.
Next the salad bar and buffet area, was the most standard and disappointing section of them all. There was only one soup to choose from (I forgot the name) and it wasn't good. There should have been a bigger variety in my opinion. Next the side dishes… very standard. Only white rice to choose from – no flavor and nothing else. The mashed potatoes were good – not great. Tasted like the frozen kind with seasoning added and some butter. The other sides were decent but could use serious improvement for $50 per person. The salad was decent… you can't really f*ck up salad.
Overall, if you are a carnivore and love your meat – give the place a try. It's definitely interesting just could use some improvement.
