After all this time finally got around to trying this place. we stopped in for lunch so neither of us went with anything too big like a steak or ribs. That will have to wait for the next time which there will definitely be! As soon as we were seated, they brought fresh rolls with sweet butter to the table. The rolls were very good. Started off with fried pickles for an app. Nice portion and they were pretty good along with the ranch sauce they gave us on the side. I had the steak tips with mushrooms and onions with mashed potatoes and a side of smothered steak fries. Wife had the smothered chicken. The steak tips were cooked medium just as I asked for. The mashed were pretty good. Smothered chicken had a nice flavor and a good portion. Let me add that they know how to serve a beer here! I was asked if I wanted a mug which I did and it was cold a frosty!!
We both enjoyed our meals enough to want to come back for more, but A real standout here was the service. Our server Patty was nothing short of great. Friendly and helpful, she made it even more enjoyable. We were then visited by a manager Jenn. Again, very friendly and made things that much better. Looking forward to our next visit where I can see a steak in my future!!
