What a great place! This small but wonderful Thai restaurant sits tucked in quietly, along the shops and businesses along the street. The decor can be a bit much, for those used to the more bland decor of typical restaurants in the area, but the decorations and ambience make Thai Jasmine all that more interesting.
We found the service outstanding, very attentive but never intrusive.
The food was all delicious. It was nicely prepared, and very pleasantly presented. It was creative, delicious, and never over spiced or overcooked.
The one downside about this restaurant was the lack of adequate parking. The only available place it seems, was along the street or across the street in a in a private parking lot that clearly specifies parking for only those businesses.
Would I go to Thai Jasmine again? You bet!
So, the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the fact that there was no air conditioning, which is a bit of a problem cause I'm not exactly a small guy. But, since there was so many great reviews I figured I would give this place a try anyway.
The wife and I ordered Thai iced tea. The ice tea was way too sweet, I had to drink water in between just to cut the sweetness.
We ordered beef pad thai for an appetizer, this was the highlight of our meal, it was probably the best pad thai I've had; it was packed with lots amd lots of flavor; super yummy.
Whe it comes to Thai, I'm a creature of habit, I always get the green curry. This green curry dish would have been awesome if they didn't overdue it with so many green beans. The excessive amount of green beans made the dish taste so bland; so disappointing.
If they could tweek some of their dishes and turn on (or fix) the AC this place would be so awesome. I saw two different groups of people leave because it was too hot. I think they need to be concerned with keeping customers and not on saving money on power.
