Was looking for a local Thai place while in this neighborhood. Nothing fancy, seemed to have good reviews, not sure what happened but food was less than great. One fish that we ordered was chicken and it was all fried batter. Disgusting and chewy, sent it back, thankfully they took it off the bill and did offer to replace it, by then we were finished. Definitely will NOT be back.
My friend and i stopped before going to a movie. The setting is very pleasant and the space is a nice size. My friend had the tamarind duck and i had a shrimp and scallop dish with peanut sauce. I would recommend and return. Prices are reasonable.
Another long time Thai restaurant that I been coming to for a long time. Of the other Thai restaurants in Rockville Centre, this is the best one. Terrific satays, peppery, flavorful spring rolls and delicious curry puffs. The best appetizer is called "crying tiger". A marinated beef served with a hot chili sauce. Love their pad gra paw basil stir fry. They also make wonderful curries and noodle dishes. Every time, the food is always consistent and well made. Definitely try this place. There's a reason they been around so long.
Had dinner with a friend and her baby here. The staff were accommodating, which was nice and we kept the baby in check.
I love the look of this place. The portions and food were amazing and I would definitely visit again!
Try the cashew chicken!
Yes. I ordered the shrimp and scallops!! So delicious! OMG! We also had noddles and fried tofu. Remarkably delicious! Will go back!!
I really wanted to like this place, because the waiter was really nice. Unfortunately he didnt understand English and I never received my entree. I did try the calamari appetizer which was good and my friend liked her emerald green wontons and puffy pockets. (I wasnt a fan) It's a cute little place, quiet and intimate with nice decor. There were lots of gnats flying around, which should probably deter me from coming back but I love Thai food and this place has great reviews so I will give them a second chance.
Stay tuned!
This place is great. All of their appetizers are delicious. Thai ice tea and thai ice coffee are a must try! So good. I always get the massamun curry with a salad and thai bread. Best massamun I've ever had. Perfectly spiced. You can tell its authentic because the people that work there, eat there. Everything is always delicious and the people who work there are friendly.
I went with my wife to Thai Table for dinner yesterday using a local flavor certificate. We were seated quickly and ordered two appetizers a Thai spring roll and scallion cakes. Both were very good. We the ordered the workman's noodles and a pad lar. Both were very good and flavorful. The real problem was with service which was sub par. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizers and another 30 minutes for our main courses.People who came after us were served before us which is UNSATISFACTORY. The food however improved from our last visit and is now very good. The price to value ratio is about average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was a fair experience and I look forward to returning in the near future to see if the service problems have been resolved.
