Very good crepes and other breakfast dishes. Very fresh, generous portions, I can barely finish my crepe. I order the 'make your own' crepe. Avocado, ham , swiss and corn on a huge crepe bursting with ingredients with a nice side of fresh fruit..Delicious. They also have a nice selection of loose teas and they make me a delicious berry iced tea. Hubby gets the CrepeOlogy – turkey, corn, plum tomatoes, red onions, avocado, smoked gouda, low fat mayo and honey mustard. They do offer other dishes like sandwiches, salads and gyros but we have always stuck to breakfast. They also have sweet crepes and gelato. Server Jessica doubles as their barista and makes delicious drinks, juices and can make anything you are craving.. The place is clean and comfy with booths and a bar with stools. The service is always excellent and Tony and Jessica bend over backwards to accommodate you.
I stopped in today for a savory crepe and some coffee. Customer service 5 stars, portions 4 stars, Pricing is where they get the 3 stars. The coffee is organic so that's cool if that's your thing. A savory crepe, large coffee and tip set me back $14 green backs.
I ordered the Gyro crepe and French vanilla large coffee. The gyro meat was generous, but the flavor was hitting! I was looking for more flavor I guess. The coffee was ok, but pricey for organic. Not a big thing to me as I no longer consume coffee daily. Overall I wasn't too excited and probably thanks to that crepe place in Montclair.
I'm not sure if I will return. I might try again with Mi Lady and update accordingly.
FYI they also carry wheatgrass shots, gelato and baked muffins and croissants. Give them a try, but let my crazy taste buds deter you.
I was looking for something different for lunch and decided to give this place a try. They serve savory and sweet crepes and well as paninis. You can build your own crepes or choose from their list of specialty crepes. I ordered a turkey, tomato, avocado, and provolone crepe with Greek olive oil. The crepe was made to order and the ingredients were fresh. The cost was $8.50 which I found a bit high but the size of the crepe is about a foot long. The crepe itself was good, but I would probably go sweet next time as I don't think I like savory crepes in general.
This cafe is located in the King's Court Gym building which is not the best location. It's not easily visible. Business was very slow the Saturday I went, just one table occupied. I wish the owners luck, but some words of advice – lower your prices, run more promotions, and get a bigger sign.
Came here on just by chance when I was driving on a local road in Lyndhurst. #rd Wave is easy to miss so look for King's Court the gyms sports club just before the bridge.
I walked in and they have booth and counter seating for dining in. They make everything in store including the pastries and soup Definitely reasonable and affordable prices, especially for the quality of fresh fruit. They do have a pretty extensive menu for such a small place.
They have savory and sweet crepes, paninis, espresso beverages, fruit/veggie smoothies, spinach cakes, soup, croissants.
But no photo of the crepes so I had to played it safe and got the Heaven Crepe: mango, orange, strawberries, Nutella, mango sauce. it's was real big and it can feed two or more people.
The crepe was delicious but too sweet because of the Nutella and they need a smaller version I think since I shared it and still had half left.
Stopped at this place on a bike ride to Clifton this weekend for a snack. I only ordered a Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato shake so have yet to try the crepes but the shake was great. The gelato was extraordinarily minty and I really liked it.
NOTE*** Don't forget to check-in because this place has a fantastic check-in offer of $1 off your order!
If a Groupon is still available, I highly recommend purchasing it so you can get a taste of what this place has to offer! [Heads up: you'll have to pay tax after using your Groupon, but it's not even a dollar.]
Right next to King's Court in Lyndhurst! Work out, eat healthy! 😉
My new favorite place to get coffee and a bite to eat! I used a Groupon for 1 sweet crepe, coffee/tea, and 2 scoops of gelato.
Exotic crepe: blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, & raspberry sauce – I can't blame them that kiwis aren't yet in season, so they weren't ripe enough to be eaten. However, that didn't stop me from eating the whole thing! The crepe was thin and tasty. Blueberries and raspberries were the perfect amount of sweetness. The raspberry sauce added a hint of flavor, and it wasn't too sweet! Overall, delicious crepe!
Coffee: I opted for chocolate hazelnut flavored coffee based on the recommendation of the person taking orders. Delicious! Definitely taste the flavor. And…it's organic coffee!
Gelato: I'm saving it for later! I chose pistachio and vanilla bean. 🙂
They have booth and counter seating for dining in. It is on the small side, but it wasn't busy when I went in on a Sunday around 11am. They make everything in store including the pastries and soup. Soup has no preservatives, artificial flavor/coloring, etc! Prices aren't outrageous, either. Definitely reasonable and affordable, especially for the quality. They have a pretty extensive menu for such a small place (e.g., savory crepes, paninis, espresso beverages, fruit/veggie smoothies, spinach cakes, soup, croissants, etc etc).
I will be returning to taste the rest of the menu! To be honest, I didn't expect this place to be that great, but I'm glad it is!! They also have a loyalty card for beverages!
Love this place, I absolute love crepes and for some reason it's always hard to find a good one that actually remains open.
I came to try this place out because of course I got a good deal on groupon.
I wasn't sure if they would be open because it was 9pm on a Thursday night but turns out they are open until 10pm! Awesome
We ordered the basic crepe that comes with strawberry, banana, & Nutella. It was delicious !! Must try.
Included in my groupon I was able to get two scoops of gelato so we got the vanilla, which was amazing too and as our drink just decided to stick with water.
It didn't think long to make, quick and friendly service, they brought it to our table.
The only thing I did notice was that they only had about 6-7 tables, which at times could be a problem if it's packed and you don't want to take it to go. But other then that seems like a great place. I will definitely be coming back soon.
I love 3rd Wave. Their menu is extensive as they offer waffles, crepes, wraps, smoothies, etc. but understand that anything you order will be delicious. During my last visit, I indulged in a chicken club (whole wheat) panini. Instead of pork bacon, they made it with turkey bacon. My side dish was lemon and herb potatoes. A must try! Crepes are huge, also a must try. Substitutions or additions to your meal or allowed and accommodated.
After every visit to 3rd Wave, I leave full and satisfied. Most importantly, their healthy dishes don't leave me feeling like I need to join the gym next door.
There are few booths for table service. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Never a long or burdensome wait for food, even when there are other customers dining.
Try try try 3rd Wave!
