Best tap room! Awesome beer, great music (the 90sish playlist is amazing), and just all around a good time! Buy some tokens at the front booth, and enjoy your favorite Brooklyn beers. Don't forget to check out the cask option – ours was fantastic!

There are no reservations for free tours, so it's first come, first serve. We arrived on a Saturday after 2PM and the wait was approximately 20-25 minutes.
They use a token system (1 token = $20), so you buy your tokens at the booth and then use these tokens to purchase beers. The booth is also the retail store including special batch beers like their barrel-aged series.
The tour was okay. It wasn't particularly exciting and since it wasn't a tasting tour, there wasn't much going on. It was very informational with lots of fun facts about hops, yeast, and all the components that create beer in general. There was a brief history of Brooklyn Brewery that was interesting.
Most of the beers on tap can be found bottled around the country, but there was a handful of specialty beers that we focused on. We also enjoyed the special bottled beers that were available at the retail store that would otherwise be difficult to locate. One of our favorites is Brooklyn Blackout, a bourbon barrel-aged stout. We've been able to find it more recently in our hometown!
Anyway, it's a cool place to hang out and grab a couple of Brooklyn Brewery beers. Though it can be really crowded and extremely loud. I'd probably just skip the tour and go straight to drinking!
I actually enjoyed coming here on my first visit. The tour of the brewery is free and you get to drink really cheaply by buying tokens at the front counter. Essentially you're paying $4-5 per drinks (unless the drink cost 2 tokens). This is something I would enjoy coming back to just to hang out with a group of friends and enjoy great tasting beers.
This place is awesome!! The staff is friendly, beer is good, AND you can order pizza from the food truck right outside the door and eat it inside, they'll clean your table for you too!
We done the brewery tour with these guys and really enjoyed it- interesting back storey to the business, great description of the produce and short but sweet tour of the brewing and batching. But the real reason to visit is for the beer- My favourite was the Defender IPA. The tour includes tasting a range of beers, but you can buy extra using a token system- 5 for $20.
Beards. Button downs. Brews.
The Brooklyn Brewery is a hipster paradise if you're into that sort of thing. Not into man buns? The beer is still worth the trip.
The place was packed when we showed up. Packed as in although the place is the size of a warehouse and full of tables, we still ended up standing. We didn't mind because the people watching was phenomenal. Also, we were closer to the beer. That's important.
Grab a glass or two of the summer ale and pretend it's summer year-round!
We didn't make it in time for the tour, but it's a nice place to have a beer and feel hip.
Finally visited here last night. It opens and 6pm, and whilst others recommended getting there early there was no need as we were fortunate there was no queue.
Nice simple system of buying beer tokens ($5 each or 5 for $20) and then exchanging them for one of many different Brooklyn brews!
Great atmosphere.
Definitely recommend visiting if in the neighbourhood !
