  1. Nice spot for happy hour! Great selection of beers and whiskey. Hubby got to try the pulled pork sliders for $2 a pop. These babies are thick with meat, coleslaw and packed with flavors. He ordered 3 and for $6 total, it makes for a pretty cheap dinner in the city!
Our waitress was really kind and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place!

  2. What I was first attracted to as I was walking past the copper still was the sign outside and it said "add $12 for unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary's" and I of course couldn't resist. It wasn't crowded and at all and the servers there were very nice! The brunch menu is simple and small. I ended up getting the frittata. The food came in a good time and after few drinks I was so ready to eat. I hate to admit that I was kind of disappointed in my meal. It had a little too much cheese on top and the veggies mixed with eggs had absolutely no flavor. Even though I was hungry and drinking I didn't finish my dish. Then My sister got Chicken wings and when I tried it, it also didn't have much flavor and it wasn't as cooked. If I ever stop by again it would be for the great brunch drinks deal and might also go for a safer option like French toast? Probably.

  3. This was a fun place. The bartender from Ireland was great! They have a ton of different whiskey and I kept drinking the Ginger toddy's! It was a new drink not on the menu but it was so good!

  4. Great for happy hour on a nice summer day. My friend and I sat outside, but I'd recommend not sitting on the sides if you do. There are people smoking and just loitering around so it can get annoying.

  5. Our quest for a place to start off our St. Patty's day celebration led us here. We were met (at 5PM) by an already rowdy crowd that was getting even more riled up by the March Madness game that was broadcasting on their flatscreens. As soon as we arrived, it started drizzling, and the parties seated outside reorganized themselves quickly indoors, but we were still able to find a large table for the two of us.

We ordered two Guinnesses ($8/each) and food from the 'Irish Fare' section of the menu. My friend got the Bangers & Mash Croquettes (5/$10) and I ordered half a dozen Guinness wings (6/$10). Both were excellent options, and I was surprised at how tasty bar food could be!

The croquettes (aka. tater tots on steroids) were really delicious and I could have probably finished a whole serving of them on my own. It was freshly deep-fried and the meat filling was a nice complement to the mashed potato on the outside.

I couldn't really taste the Guinness on the wings (my friend said he could), but I really appreciated how meaty and juicy they were. These were deep-fried so that the skin was nice and crispy while the meat stayed tender. I'm used to dry-to-the-bone, overly saucy wings…and these were the exact opposite! Delicious.

Two beers and two appetizers cost us a little over $40, which is a little steep, but to be expected in the city.

  6. We sat at the bar and the three of us ordered drinks off their cocktail menu. I ordered teas up, a whiskey drink. Stayed with it through round 2. Um YUM. Mac and cheese with bacon! I really enjoyed the vibe, drinks, and food of this place. The bar tender was killing it. Thanks!

  7. I had the Mac n cheese and a couple pumpkin beers which were a great price at $4. The Mac and cheese was good but not great and the food menu was very small, not the menu linked to the yelp page. Our waitress was also fairly rude to us that is until we said we wanted food, then all of a sudden she was trying hard for those tips. The place itself has a cool vibe and would be more enjoyable when the front patio is open.

  8. Great selection of whiskey and a range of whiskey cocktails!! Come here for quality drinks only. For a gastropub their food is w/e.

I ordered popcorn with caramelized bourbon which sounds real fancy but honestly it was just bagged popcorn and we got the bottom of the bag where it was just bits. I don't know why they can't just open a fresh bag.

The chips and guac is tiny, not worth $10. And the mac and cheese seems to be a hit or miss.
