The redesign of this place is nice. I could do with a little more natural light, but the theme they have going definitely works.
We came in on Taco Tuesday. Although we didn't eat any tacos, I could see returning in the future. $19.95 gets you all the tacos you can eat. In addition, $16 gets you unlimited margaritas, sangria or draft beer. The table next to us was asking if that was for the table or per person. I felt that it was very self explanatory that $16 per person is the cost. $4 a person for unlimited drinks? What is this quarter beer night in college? I think not.
Our waitress Jackie was friendly and helpful.
The chili lime wings were tasty, cilantro heavy but most Mexican food is. And I happen to like cilantro.
My skirt steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. I asked for mashed plantains instead of rice and they were happy to accommodate my request. I though $24.95 was somewhat on the high side of reasonable. The mashed plantains left something to be desired, they were bland and kinda sticky. They did perk up with the mango salsa that was on the table.
All in all, a solid option if you're in the mood for Mexican.
