Stopped in here with a friend cause we were looking for a spot to grab coffee and sit down. We ended up ordering egg, spinach and cheese crepes as well and they were amazing! The crepe was slightly crisp on the outside, but retained a super thin, slightly chewy texture. I've had dreams about those crepes since I went. I also ordered a vanilla latte and it was lovely as well. Highly recommend for anyone in the neighborhood!
We are new to the area and apparently so is this quaint coffee shop. It's small but still has 4 tables inside and 3 outside. Situated right on the corner of 7th avenue, the people watching in park slope is great. Huge umbrellas provide much needed shade in the summer and the iced coffee which we both had was great, definitely a nice change from the Starbucks on every corner. Staff are very kind as well, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed!
This place is so mediocre I'm shocked it's been open this long.
The coffee is so watered down you're just drinking brown hot water. It's also served with milk regardless of how you order, as though a black coffee is unheard of! Also if you eat there just order a small coffee, and not as I did a large, because you'll get their only size small cup and if you ask for a refill you'll again be looked at as though you've spoken in an alien language.
The owners (I believe) are very gruff and unfriendly (no hugs being felt from their mugs).
Their crepes are acceptable, but the egg and cheese one is much less egg and way more cheese.
Also reasons unknown the type of customer they tend to attract are obnoxiously loud tourists that don't seem to grasp a small coffee shop atmosphere. I have come three times now (first two for quick lattes) and each time this is my experience. If you're looking for a relaxed coffee shop where you can feel comfortable enjoying a book or a small nosh head around the corner to regular. It's much more inviting and coffee is way better!
