Tried the latte! It was very good. Sometimes you kind of lose the feeling of the beverage because it is lost under all of the milkiness. The milkiness was not over the top so I was still able to taste the flavor of the coffee, which I enjoyed very much. A winner! Ding, ding, ding!
This place is legit. I think they are coming up on a year as a cafe (used to be a bar). This place knows great coffee and amazing service. Each time you enter you receive a smile from a happy face behind the counter. They really start your day off right. That and they serve Forty Weight Coffee which is the best stuff around. I hope they get more light snack options, the breakfast burritos are not where its at. The doughnuts are just ok and the bagels are not the reason you go in…that said, the coffee, service, space and tunes make this place a winner in my book.
Some of the best cold brew in Brooklyn, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood as you can grab your cuppa and run up the stairs to the train. I often stay for the breakfast burrito and make a day of it: this former bar has plenty of room and excellent wifi. Noone is gonna get tetchy if you hang out too long. Locals help me remember why I love Brooklyn.
I stopped by last Sunday to participate in the vote for your favorite donut event. It's a really interesting lay out for a cafe. It used to be a bar/lounge. So it's quite spacious with plenty of seating.
I ordered a maple syrup latte then collected my plate with the free flight of donuts. There was a choice of 4 different flavors to try. We're also given a pencil and paper to write down our choices. I thought it was a really cool event. I probably won't be a regular since its quite far from where I live, but I'll certainly keep it in mind when I'm in South Williamsburgh.
