  1. ***Standard drinks, Low key vibe***

Great place to grab a quick drink with friends; not a date-vibe place. There isn't anything that big of a stand out; it's your typical bar.

  2. This may be the best brunch I have ever had. First bottomless mimosas, Bellinis or bloody marys for $15 (to get the deal you have to order food as well). The service here was amazing. From our first step in until we were walking out the door everyone was so polite. Our waitress was so attentive.

The food. Ok this is where I'm saying this place is amazing because I have never had a waffle breakfast sandwich and I'm counting down til I can scarf down another. Waffle breakfast sandwich aka two perfect soft and chewy waffles as the sides for the "bread" with the inside being two fried eggs smothered in cheese, avocado (always a plus for me) and bacon. Dayyyum. It was amazing and came with French fries. Not only was my food good but my family and friends got the huevos rancheros, kale Caesar salad, Irish breakfast and brunch burger and nothing but raving reviews. Plus this place has a killer weird but fun name. Total 5stars. Check it out!

  3. Nice happy hour spot! They've got drink specials for beer, wine, and well liquor. They don't exactly have happy hour food specials, but they have a reasonably priced pub menu that has some good bites! We tried the steak tacos, burger sliders, and the spinach artichoke dip! I'd try all three again!

  4. Stopped in for lunch around 1pm on a Monday since I read from fellow Yelpers they have a lunch special for $15. I sat at the bar and immediately was helped by the bartender. There were four entrees included in the lunch special and you could choose any beer, house wine, liquor, soda etc. I chose the burger with cheese and bacon medium well and a local beer. My food took about 15 min to come and while I waited there was a steady flow of people coming in and out (but still tables available). They had four different TVs with sports on over the bar. Seems like it would be a great place to watch a big game. When my burger arrived, I was slightly disappointed it didn't automatically come with lettuce, tomato, onion (but then again I never asked). It was cooked more well done but I ate it; I'm not picky and was hungry. The bartender did a great job checking up on me and making sure I had everything I need. I would definitely be back for lunch, for happy hour or if there's a big game to watch.

  5. Great brunch spot!
I got the steak arugula salad – it came with a decent amount of steak- I got medium rare (cooked perfectly!!!). The steak (sliced up) was over a bed of arugula with some cheese sprinkled along with tomatoes. Cost about ~15.
They have lunch deals though so you can always pick something from there (costs around ~12).

We also got spinach artichoke dip with chips. The spinach artichoke tasted and looked homemade.

Service was attentive. A fan of this place.

  6. Meals were delicious, I had the Huevos Rancheros and my boyfriend had the Irish breakfast. The Irish bacon was on point, perfectly smoked and full of flavor. The $15 bottomless drinks on the other hand were very watered down, you couldn't taste the alcohol in the Bloody Mary's and the Bellinis and Mimosas tasted of cheap champagne and bad OJ, the Bellini was okay. The place got packed quick, they opened a little after 11 and by 12, every table in there was taken.

  7. Last month my friend and I dropped by for burgers and beer. Having been re-branded from the time of my friend's first visit (I had never been here before), we noticed that it had a new feel- and a lot of potential.

The server, seemingly excited about the pub's makeover, breathlessly described items on the menu. Everything sounded- and looked- great. However, while the burgers were just average,  the fries were almost cold, and disappointing at that.

In light of the above, while I wouldn't go out of my way to go to The Flying Cock Pub in the future, I would consider giving it another try if I found myself in the neighborhood, and in want of a cold pint.

  8. Fun, friendly neighborhood drink spot. Not pretentious or douchey. Good selection of beers.
