  1. Really awesome bartenders. Good selection of wine and beer, with some microbrews. The food menu is interesting, with a mix of traditional bar food with some Asian influences. Last time I was there, the chef was coming around asking how things were and feedback on the menu. For a neighborhood spot like this, I thought it was awesome the chef did that.

  2. My fiance and I went here from some drinks with friends to celebrate our engagement. What a great spot! They have an amazing FRONT PORCH, could you have guessed?! The inside is super charming. Very calming decor with lots of charm! Woodwork, details, lighting all A PLUS. The drinks are made well, they don't skimp on alcohol to mixer ratio either. The crowd is also right up my alley. It gets busy around normal bar hours 10-1am. I love that you can breath and talk and play darts still on a Saturday. You won't find yourself elbowing your neighbor, maybe by the bar to get a drink, but nothing crazy. You will still find new crowds and people to meet as well.

We saw one of our friends order food and it looked and smelled amazing!! Sooooo my fiance and I went back the VERY NEXT DAY to eat with my twin and her husband. YESS YESS YESS! Everything was unbelievable. I had the galbi burger and so did my fiance. Literally LITERALLY the best burger I've ever had. My sister and her husband both got the tacos. Incredibly delicious. We all started with their wings. People are NOT kidding when they say they are the BEST wings they've ever had.

Lucky for my fiance and I, we live down the hill. Cannot wait to make this place my regular go-to. Melissa is FANTASTIC.

UPDATE: I literally just feel like I had an affair eating this sandwich in front of my fiancé. The salmon melted in my mouth and the aioli should be smothered all over my face. The pickled onions didn't stand a chance. Order the salmon sandwich. Their food is absolutely unREAL. The wings are exactly what everyone else says they are. The pork belly is STUPID DELICIOUS. The galbi burger is the most incredibly delicious burger I've ever had in my life- be prepared to get dirty. Don't underestimate the tasty food here, everything is magical. I've been here often because the food, chef, atmosphere always just keeps bringing me back.

  3. My friend's family bought out this restaurant and a few co workers and I decided to support our mutual friend. This restaurant bar had great ambience and unique decor that's both welcoming and laid back. It's a smaller bar with about 10-13 tables for dining and a small bar for happy hour and drinks. I have never been to this place before with the previous owner but I'm only rating this from my current experience.

Restaurant: a little bit of rustic and old school. Rustic because the designs of the chairs and tables. The lighting were made from mason jars. A little old school because here is a 'jukebox' that's modern with a touch screen feature and an area by the bathroom for a nice game of darts. The bar area is kind of small but it had a lot of top shelf liquor for your taste!

Food: I would love to come back for the food because the grilled cheese my husband got was delicious! It was three small pieces of grilled cheese with a side of crunchy French fries. The fries were amazing and the grilled cheese was just right! I would love to try other food options this place provides!

The overall feel of The Front Porch was very cozy with a lot of locals that stop by. The drinks and food were good and the atmosphere overall felt cozy. I would recommend this place for local people and highly recommend trying the food (although I've only tried the grilled cheese).

I feel that this place should eventually get security on the weekends because it seems like it'll get busier, especially with football Sundays!

UPDATE 1/24/16: FINALLY came back to try their food and it's just as good as that grilled cheese sandwich looked! I had the chicken panini and the double fried wings which was unbelievably amazing. The wings WILL take half an hour to prepare and it does say it on the menu, so if you're going to order it, you better be willing to wait for them. I promise it's definitely worth the wait!

  4. I will first start by saying, I should really give this place another try since it only opened a few weeks ago.
A friend was having a little birthday get together here on a Saturday evening so I looked at the menu before hand and saw "Hint of Asian" I thought OK this should be really good. I love Asian fusion!!

The food was pretty good and I can definitely see the Hint of Asian in the menu but didn't taste it. The Lotus bun they tried to incorporate didn't work out too well. It fell apart at the first bite. A Ramen burger would fit perfectly into the theme they are trying to go for.

I also know they need a lot more work on the service end. Our waitress was great and did the best she could with all the tables full and being the only server but for the people (owners) standing there watching over like they were too good to help out, (Yes, we see you in the corner by the front door) not so cool.
