The atmosphere is typical sports bar. Bathroom was nice and clean. The service was nice. On on to the good stuff…
Huddle Fries- fries smothered in vodka sauce with melted cheese – ummm YUM! Really nice concept and great execution.
Teriyaki wings – way too breaded and candy glaze coated, but if you're into really fatty flavor wings you may like it. A bit much for me.
Tacos – I ordered the chicken tacos for taco Tuesday ($2 each). Very meh.
Buffalo Chicken "Dip" – not dip at all, just shredded chicken in light buffalo sauce. They definitely need to throw some more dip with that chicken for real.
Overall I think the place has potential and damn those huddle fries…good as heck
Oh and Happy Hour prices ain't too shabby! I'd come back!
The Huddle is your local "neighborhood" sports bar. It is on the edge of where residential meets commercial. They have TV's everywhere you turn. There are easily 30 TV's in there so it's perfect for watching a sporting event, or Sunday Football which is why we were there. My husband loves participating in Fantasy Football, so of course he wanted to go somewhere where he could watch all of the 1 pm games. I found The Huddle on Yelp, so we decided to give it a try.
The Huddle is in an old house that was converted into a bar. It's a cool setup. There were 2 waitresses / bartenders who took care of the whole establishment. Very friendly. The hubby and I ordered a pitcher of Bud Light to share as that was the Sunday special. We decided to eat lunch there as well. He tried the Empanadas, one Chicken, one Beef and really enjoyed them. They were a good size too. I opted to try the Zucchini Stick Special. It was $5 and the plate was massive. See my picture. I ended up taking half of it home with me. I thought that was going to be my "appetizer" and then order a sandwich / wrap for the two of us to share, boy was I mistaken. The zucchini sticks were good, buy had way too much breading.
Make sure to ask the waitress for the correct specials before you order. It seems that the specials in the menu are not accurate. I was going to order one of the drinks, and she said it was more expensive. You really should honor the prices that you post in your specials or remove that from the menu.
Overall, it was a good place to watch many games. The food was your typical bar food. My husband noticed that several of the taps were empty, which definitely makes me curious as to why. And they have free wi-fi, so ask your server for the password.
