  1. Soooo slow sooooo crowded and sooooo unorganized during lunch hour. I was not pleased.

Came in thinking it would be 5 minute stop at the most for them to make a smoothie, and 20 minutes later my smoothie came out… I could have gone to a sit down restaurant in that amount of time!

They were so disorganized and at points I had to ask them if they were making my smoothie since I assumed they never even put in the order and/or just forgot about it.

I got the PJ&CJ smoothie ($9) and it was not good. I've had my share of peanut butter, banana, and strawberry smoothies and this was the worst out of all. Go to liquiteria or the cafe in Equinox or bed bath and beyond.

  2. I loved this shop! Being wheat and dairy free can be difficult when eating out but stores like this make my life easy! I had a green curry kale quinoa bowl and I like you can choose the base as brown rice or quinoa, as well as choose your protein (chicken, tofu, salmon, etc). It was delicious and the portion size perfectly filled me up. I also tried a taste of the smoothie PB&CG (chia gel!!) and it was good too. They have cute little samples around the store and having the juice samples served in small lidded containers is a novel idea if never seen before.
I would love to try their other offerings!

  3. When I need to get some fiber and greens, I love coming here. I feel the value is good (for the bowls), usually my husband and I order a bowl & smoothie to split and we're both full at the end of the meal. We've been coming for a while and have gotten to know the staff a bit, they are great :). We've tried all the bowls and our favorite is the Tokyo fresh.

  4. One of the better juice bars I've been to. Loved that they had a coffee-like version. Ended up trying their free samples, which is great especially if you have no idea if you will like a given flavor. Cost me $7 for a bottle, expensive but pretty standard for places like these.

  5. Quaint, juice shop a few blocks from TOURO college. Mostly specializing in healthy foods. Salads here are awesome, as well as the different shakes. I like that they have small tastings in the front. The staff is nice and usually accommodate you if you want to tweak the juice recipe a bit. Peanut butter whey shake hits the spot after a good workout.

  6. I like their salad bowl. Very fresh and tasty. I keep going there. 3 days in a row already.

  7. I like smoothies, very much. I like them enough to know not all smoothies are created equally. Different shops=different concoctions, different employees=different variances to the recipe, you get my drift, so I always ask questions. I never want to commit to an $8-$12 smoothie that I don't like. I like when an employee can recommend something they've actually tried.
Note to employers: allow/insist your employees actually try the stuff they are ringing up daily.
Anyway, I told the cashier what I wanted, what tastes I like and she recommended the Dr. Feel Good even allowing me to taste a bit of hers that she just ordered for herself. I like that!!! When the employee knows their stuff it's a plus for me

On to the actual smoothie, it was good! Kale, Parsley, Apple, pineapple and spinach (I may have added or forgotten some ingredients). It did leave a bit of an after taste but I was able to drink it and enjoy it, so no complaints. I would get it again.

  8. Pretty expensive juice/greens shop. Service was a bit slow and their square system always seems to be on the fritz. Smoothies range 7 bucks and above which is quite pricey where you can find other shops at a better rate. Had the pb and j smoothie. It was tasty but at that price wasn't worth it. The salads here weren't to scream home at either. Had the greek kale salad which was mostly kale and hardly any olives, cucumbers, or feta cheese. For a salad like that it was quite expensive. The chicken apple curry salad was lackluster as well and didn't really have that curry flavor pop. The establishment also could go for a bit of organization and tidying up. Behind the counter it looked quite hectic and messy. Couldn't really enjoy my smootie or salad knowing what i saw in the cleanliness of the shop. Also found a long hair in the take out plastic forks bin. Yuck. Won't be back.
