  1. Decent bar in midtown with a lot of space. Came here for a co-worker's farewell party.

    OK beer/whiskey selection.

Food was mediocre – not too impressed with the appetizers. I did really enjoy one of their desserts though – believe it was the cheesecake.

    Friendly service.

Good place to come with a larger group.

  2. The beers are good enough. The space is nice and big. But overall, it's a little on the skeevy side. Pretty disgusted with the fact that it appeared that "ladies of the night" were operating here. Won't be back.

  3. What more can I say?! Great service, great food, great beers! We popped in here because it was literally two doors down from our hotel. Nice warm, pub like atmosphere. Got seated immediately, waitress was right over. Started with two beers and settled on nachos & the buffalo chicken flatbread for our meal to split. Both were super amazing! Not to mention washing it down with cold beers just makes it even better! Service was great- refill? No problem! Beers were served right away! Low key, casual pub style- which I'm a sucker for- but add great service & food and you got a winner! Come here, have beers and pub food- you'll be missing out if you don't! Ooooo and did I mention the sweet jams?! Anyone who grew up in the 90's will love their jams playlist!

  4. We walked in after leaving another bar in the area since this was close by.
At first thought big place , pretty large bar area nothing too crazy as far as the decor goes pretty typical to an Irish bar with plenty of TV's available to watch pretty much anything , any kind of sporting event am sure will be playing.
The place is nice, big open space & even thought there were plenty of people there was still enough room to move around comfortably with out people being on top of one another.
They seemed to have a lot of seating space we did not eat walked around & settle to the side by the bar.
Although they have a nice beer list I decide to stick with Stella can't go wrong since I had been drinking that before friends had Blue Moon & Jack & Diet not bad.
We had a couple of drinks & enjoyed our evening this place has a good atmosphere , Service at the bar was good bartender was pretty nice & friendly.
Good service & prices , I wouldn't mind coming back.

  5. The Keg Room has become one of my top choices in chill bars in recent days. I first discovered the Keg Room by accident a few months ago when my friends and I were at a party down the street but were looking for a nearby bar to watch the UFC fight. (Sadly, it no longer shows UFC fights due to costs of purchasing PPV for a bar its size.) Since then, I've found myself here a few times when I'm in the neighborhood. The Keg Room has a great beer selection and there are TVs everywhere. Sitting at the bar and trying to watch a game on a TV right above your head? No need to strain yourself! All along the bar, TVs are lined facing both the outside and inside of the bar, so everyone has a great view of what they're trying to watch. Also, being an Irish bar, I was pleasantly surprised that the bartender I was talking to (probably the owner/manager) was born-and-bred Irish. That alone made Keg Room legit in my book. I will be back!

  6. The keg room is right around the corner from my apartment so decided to try it out. Looks like a great atmosphere to have drinks and watch a football game. I probably won't ever get food there again. Was not a fan. Shame on us for getting a pizza there so I won't go there. That was our fault living in New York. The chicken pot pie was different then what I was used to, but it was okay. The service wasn't great. Former server here so I understand what a bad day is and if your mind is else where, I left annoyed with the amount that we paid for food which we didn't enjoy and service that wasn't great.

  7. Really nice bar to come for HH, get together with friend or to watch a game. The place is very large and open. There are a ton of TV's to watch any of the games. There are tables to grab food on the side and in the back of the bar. No spot in this place is a bad one. Their prices are decent as well. We only ordered drinks, but I am happy we did so here!

  8. I came here with my son when we visited NY recently. The reason we decided on the Keg room because it's an Irish bar and i wanted some homely food for my son. Well , it didn't disappoint! We both had a cheeseburger meal (with fries and salad ) and it was so tasty , filled us up and we were so glad we ate there . There is a sports bar theme to the place , which are my favourite bars by the way and I topped off the night with a bud light ! Excellent prices , great atmosphere , great food – massive thumbs up from me KEG ROOM !
