“once you drink enough and have the munchies the duck fat fries are phenomenal.”

“Though it is categorized as a sports bar, it has more of a cocktail bar feel and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.”

  1. I love how conveniently located this spot is. We have our corporate parties here and were fortunate enough to try the majority of the menu items. The fried mac and cheese bites are pretty good. Their Yankee sliders were delicious last night. I recommend the wings. They have various sauces you can choose from, and every one of them is finger licking good! The bartenders have a heavy pour, and there are tv's for your entertainment. This is my go to spot whenever I am working out of the ESB office.

  2. Stopped in for a couple of drinks during a recent trip to Manhattan.  While the bar itself is nice, though nothing out of the ordinary, the drinks were absolutely fantastic.  As usual I ordered a Manhattan and was pleasantly surprised.  All high-end ingredients – excellent balance between the astringent Rye and the sweetness of the vermouth.  Outstanding presentation from the glass to the ice.  I was very pleased and will be happy to consume several more on my next trip.

  3. Came here for HH.  $1 Oysters. Fresh.  Not too shabby.

  4. Stopped here with a group of friends spontaneously for a quick round since it was raining outside and we didn't have any umbrella.  The interior was nicely decorated and the place was fairly packed, but there were still plenty of seats open by the bar.

They said that they have a full bar, but alas, they were out of Midori and was not able to make the shot that we were originally hoping for…  Ordered lemon drops instead.  The shots were only just so so and the price was a bit expensive…

2 stars (Meh.  I've had better.) is exactly right where it would be in my opinion…

  5. Liberty, you have impressed me! I came here on a Friday evening around 7pm for a private event taking place in the basement party room. Upon walking in, the main space was PACKED, LOUD, and very lively. The bar was filled with an after-work crowd and all the old school 90s hits were blasting. There's a photo booth too!

We had a private bar downstairs for the event, and the bartenders were great. Though we didn't get to choose our own food, the food they brought out was very good as well. The sliders are good, and the meat isn't poor-quality either. There were two types of pizza: pesto and plain cheese, and they were also good, a tad oily, but good. The veggie sliders aren't bad either, oh…and whatever seasoning they put on their fries is crack. Overall, this is a great casual spot for some good drinks and small noshes.

  6. This is a pretty underrated spot for lunch — lots of seating area, friendly and competent servers, and pretty good food.  Nothing extraordinarily fancy, but I've been here twice now for lunch and have no complaints. Fish and chips in particular were very good.

  7. There's a well-rounded alcohol selection here, which is pretty great. This is definitely a place where there's something for everyone, as far as drinks are concerned.

The fig pizza is pretty good — although it took kind of a while to come out. The mix of savory and sweet is excellent, taste-wise.

There are a lot of television screens in the bar and back areas, and I was in on Final Four night; so there were lots of college basketball fans here, watching the game.

Our bartender was attentive and quick.

    Overall, I'd come back.

  8. I've been here before but I came here again to grab a drink before dinner at a restaurant around the corner.  The place is always busy so I would make sure you get here early but we were able to find two seats at the bar with no issues.  Service is always great and the staff is super friendly and very attentive.  Last time I went, I also got the oysters, which are always great, and the flat bread as well.

    Highly recommend!
