  1. Great hidden spot! My boyfriend and I came here a couple of months ago when we were looking at rentals. We were starving and we yelped the closest thing to the grove st station and this little guy popped up. It's very small and easy to miss with all the big restaurant signs around. The space is small, but quaint. There's definitely enough room to seat 10-12 people, but I think it's mostly a take out place.

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich names were really cute, they had to do with business, like the "Corporate Club" or "Advertising Advantage." I can't for the life of me remember what my sandwich was called, but it was absolutely delicious. I love chicken salad and this was done perfectly. The croissant I had was also phenomenal. You can taste the buttery goodness in the croissant. I'm very picky about my croissants, I don't like them too flaky because they get all over the place. This one was good, no great! One of the best croissants I've had. The chicken salad was delicious as well and it had bacon which is an extra bonus.

Overall, awesome place and will be back soon!

  2. I'm surprised the ratings aren't higher. This little sandwich shop (also in the literal sense) is conveniently located right outside the grove path station making it a perfect place to pick up grub on the way home. The guys and gal that work here are always friendly, and make pleasant conversations.

My favorite is the banker's Reuben (grilled corn beef with sauerkraut) and rice pudding (pre-made and stored in their drink fridge which you can get yourself). For hot sandwiches, do expect to wait a few minutes but the quality is solid every time.

  3. There are so. many. sandwiches to choose from. SO MANY.
I ordered on Seamless ($1.50 fee) one lazy Saturday morning, turned into afternoon. I hadn't eaten all day so I wanted to order everything.

For two people, we had the Philly cheesesteak, grilled chicken cobb salad, western omelette, and a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The philly was great. Of course, not really an authentic philly but if you have a craving for it, it will do the trick. The salad was really fresh. The lettuce was crispy and you could tell that it wasn't a salad that they just spilled out of a bag from two days ago. The only thing missing from it was the hard boiled egg. The omelette was a little overcooked so I probably wouldn't order it again. But that's what I get for ordering an omelette from a sandwich place, I guess. As for the bagel, it was pretty standard. I ordered whole wheat but it wasn't whole wheat. Not the end of the world though. I'd deffo order again. Or better yet, I think I'll sit in next time and try some of their signature sammies, made fresh.

  4. I've only done breakfast and not lunch, and from the looks of the menu/reviews this should be the other way around. It seems as if lunch time cold cut sandwiches are the way to go here, and if I'm feelin' a breakfast saaangwich then a bagel spot is the way to go.

When I order a egg and cheese sandwich I want a really crispy and greasy fried egg. The egg sandwich had a really thick and fluffy omelette type of egg which didn't mesh all that well with the roll. I guess this is really just a matter of preference. I didn't have meat on my sandwich but my boyfriend had taylor ham which looked delish. He felt the same way about the egg and actually removed it and turned his sandwich into a ham and cheese combo.

It's a quick fix if you want a fast breakfast or lunch, but I'm still on the hunt for a hangover curing breakfast sandwich in the area. I'm pumped to try a lunch time panini or wrap and I'll be back for that ASAP.

  5. Staff is never friendly, breakfast ends at 11 and 2 out of 3 times I come here I walk out before I get to order – and not because they are busy. They just take their time and never offer to help patrons waiting. Bagels are sad.

  6. Friendly crew and nice casual ambiance. Store is clean. I would give it more stars but the breakfast is a bit overpriced. Is return if I was walking over here and wanted lunch. The sandwich combos look interesting.

  7. Loved the sandwiches !

    Highly recommend:
    Chicken Pesto sandwich
    Chicken cutlet sandwich

  8. Came here on a whim during dinner time and ordered what I thought was a classic that couldn't go wrong – prosciutto and mozzarella on a baguette.  For some reason, either the prosciutto or the basil sauce on it, the flavor was way too salty.  Also, the prosciutto was stringy and had some hard to chew lumps.  Wasn't too pleased with my sandwich at this "sandwich" shop.
