It's a small place where you order food and go. This is not a restaurant just a good soul food spot. The owners are so sweet & can really throw down.
I was born in Texas so I'm a big fan of soul food. They have reasonable prices for the large portions of food they give you. I always end up getting the shrimp dinner. It comes with any two sides. I usually go with mac & cheese & their collard greens. It cost $11.
This place will put some weight on you. I only come here once in a blue because it's just so good & I have to watch my figure!
I love this lil spot! I can appreciate a good fish/soul food spot and here it is. I always get the whiting with seasoned fries but they have an extensive menu. I tried the macaroni and cheese once but I'm not a fan. My fish is always fresh and fried to perfection. The portions are not huge, but it's enough to get you full.
The staff is always friendly. I've been served by the whole family (Mom, Dad, Bro & Sis) and everyone is so pleasant. I always call ahead, then pick it up. This is a take-out spot only. Prices are reasonable.
