As we stayed at Loews Regency we also had to try Regency Bar & Grill.
We had breakfast there one morning, and it was definitely expensive, and we expected more for 34 USD. They served coffee, juice, eggs with toast and potatoes and that was it. We definitely didn't go there again for breakfast.
The lunch menu was much better, I think. After a long shopping trip I went in to have some wine and after a while my parents joined me for lunch. We had crab cakes and an Upper East side club. The portions were perfectly sized and was well prepared.
Of course we also had to try the cocktails, on our last evening there we went in to try them out.
The room was really noisy, which is OK to a certain point, it is a bar/restaurant, but it was a little too much.
The cocktails were good. We got a blueberry mojo to and an old Cuban. The old Cuban was quite small, but overall the cocktails were just fine. The price was also acceptable.
Overall a pretty pricey restaurant/bar, but it is on Park Avenue, so it is kind of expected. I would recommended this place for drinks, wine and lunch. The breakfast can be had better elsewhere.
