I'm extremely happy that there's a store that specializes in honey too, and not just tea! (Would that there be a store that just sold honey, like "Les secrets de l'apiculteur in old Lyon, France…) I bought a jar of yummy Thyme honey from Sicily. The honey selection is interesting, albeit small, and the store clerk was friendly, but $20 is very pricey for the jar that I bought…
I didn't pick up any tea on this visit, but I noticed they had an interesting selection of green and chai teas…
I somehow missed this place despite walking past it numerous times on my way to Weill Cornell. But when I finally noticed it, I couldn't help but step inside to see what it was like.
What I found was a delightful little room with delicious smelling teas, beautiful amber honeys, and related little accessories. I instantly wanted everything but was determined to just look… the charming sales girl had other plans. Though I smelled about a thousand chai and black teas, I walked out with a packet of just one… a very aromatic chocolate raspberry blend that was pretty cheap to boot.
I will absolutely be back. They have honey sticks and lots of tea cups that need to be in my cabinet right this instant!
There is tea.
There is honey.
It's not false advertising, thank goodness!
It's all a bit pricey.
It's a cool little niche store, indeed.
That is all.
