Stopped here before a Ranger game for a quick dinner and drink since it was so close by and wasn't as disappointed as the other reviewers. Service was good and fast, the drinks were good and the wings were excellent for pregame. Nicely fried and meaty with a lot of sauce. Yum!
My steak tacos were a little flavorless but had Quacamole and salsa on the side to compensate. My boyfriends burger had a huge bun cradling a small meat patty but he still ended up enjoying it.
As we were leaving the place got packed. Not the greatest place to eat but certainly convenient for the garden. I'd eat their wings again and maybe just do appetizers next time.
Came here before a Rangers game and the place wasn't packed but definitely had a crowd. There was only one bartender for the entire place, but he did a decent job with keeping up with the orders. Basically just another dive bar in a highly tourist area with mediocre food. The place is dirty, floors sticky, and the cigarette smoke from outside fills the entire area near the entryway.
I don't see myself ever wanting to come here again and probably only will if forced to meet friends here again before another event at MSG.
This is the only bar we found near the Garden that was open at eleven on a Sunday before a noon game. Decent but not great tap selection. The lead bartender rocked it…there was a new bartender that was having a rough go of it but hey everyone is new once so that does not impact the rating. Good music, and I like that they have a number if TVs behind the bar and they out a sign saying what game NFL game will be on a given TV.
Not quite the character of the Irish bars around the icy, but a decent choice.
