A catch up review as we have eaten here a few times and the bottom line is OK but nothing to write home about. Over priced for sure for the quality of food and service and unfortunately for them they a trending down in their reviews over the past year.
I will say they have one of the best coffees bar none and great fresh squeezed OJ, but alas that is not enough to rescue them from a reputation that is now bordering on mediocre.
We went with my in-laws on Father's Day, a day I was sure was going to be impossible get in. Nope! We arrived around 11:30 and waited maybe 10 mins. The place is pretty big so plenty of space. And so bright and airy! Great feeling to the space.
Half of us went with breakfast and the other half went lunch. Jeff and I each got the quinoa bowl. It was good but I thought it tasted a little toooo healthy. Jeff was a satisfied quinoa customer. The side salad was large and the citrus vinaigrette was perfect.
My MIL got eggs, ham, and potatoes. I stole a potato chunk and it was excellent. A little crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. FIL got the eggs Benedict. He cleaned the plate in about 5 minutes so it must have been good.
The highlight for me was seeing a whole section on the menu devoted to iced teas! There were even 2 more on special! I tried both the specials — the peach black tea and the apple cucumber green tea. The peach black was excellent. The green one was a bit weak, tasted mostly like cucumber water. Still great, though!
I would definitely come back again.

I have been back several more times and I still love this place!
Apparently it's BYO, which is awesome as I saw 3 women bring in a huge bottle of Korbel and ask for a pitcher of OJ. Smart ladies!
I think my favorite meal there so far was the Wilbur skillet.
Most recently I did a half sandwich and salad lunch deal. The salad was really good. I got the super bowl with lots of fresh fruit and the citrus vinaigrette. The half a turkey reuben melt was a little underwhelming, but not too bad. Jeff got the cuban sandwich, which was quite tasty.
A few things with this place. If you're from or visit the area and you understand how the shore works, you already know you're going to wait for a meal on a weekend at any breakfast or brunch spot. We had a large group – 8 people total. We waited outside for close to 2 hours to eat. There are a few factors that can help this incredibly painful experience. One is calling ahead to let them know the time you'll be there. They do not have the space or tables to accommodate more than 2 or 3 large parties at once. Two is hiring bus people that hustle instead of chit chatting around dirty tables while I can see you and I'm about to eat my hand. Similar comment for the haphazard host desk – I guess I don't understand what happened to kids these days and particularly at the Jersey shore. When did they stop caring about work? Brunch is the most important meal of the day.
We were grateful to finally be seated, with a great server and good food. Fortunately for them I will not return. They did address our complaints, see photo.
A beautiful & casual place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! We sat by the open windows in the front and our server was Zoey. She was friendly and accommodating. The menu is very nice with lots of meals from decadent french toast to healthy & fit dishes. I enjoyed the two egg breakfast with turkey sausage and fresh fruit on the side. Coffee was so tasty and we loved having a full pitcher on the table (like IHOP except at Turning Point it's actually filled up). I have moved out of state recently, however when I come home to the Jersey Shore to visit, I would absolutely love to come back!
