Village Vibe Cafe is fairly new to Pelham, and after my first two visits, I wasn't sure if I had enough info to write a review. After all, both times I'd only ordered scrambled eggs with lettuce & tomato on whole wheat toast, which is pretty basic and isn't even a menu item. But a couple hours ago when hunger hit I decided to venture back to Village Vibe Cafe to try one of their many sandwiches. I was definitely not disappointed.
After scanning their menu for a minute, I was intrigued by their Raging Bull Panini. For one, the name is epic, and the ingredients sounded pretty promising: roast beef, swiss cheese, onions, jalapenos, and a spicy house sauce. The panini delivered as promised. It was a delicious flatbread panini with a nice amount of heat (though after a while I pulled out a few jalapenos – yeah, I punked out).
The service here is great, the staff is friendly and you won't be waiting an exorbitant amount of time for your food. The cafe is very clean and welcoming with quite a bit of seating, including a couple outside tables. As far as food options go, there are a variety of breakfast and lunch options – bagels, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Of course, there's also coffee, tea and other beverages, including smoothies (which I definitely have to try soon).
There are ample food options on Fifth Ave but Village Vibe definitely stands out. I can't wait to go back to try more!
