I came here for drinks and really enjoyed myself. The bartender was really attentive and nice.
I can't lie; this spot is a good weeknight, hit-em-up drink and food specials location. They have a $6 dinner that's way better than you would think.
It's usually quiet during the week but tonight was way busier due to the dart teams they had in attendance.
When I'm in the area, I like to come here, with friends, for drinks and a decent time. They have their regulars, who are mostly harmless and sometimes entertaining.
Not a disappointment…
Neighborhood bar restaurant that's a neighborhood gem. Friendly patrons, comfortable atmosphere. Great place to watch the games and get some decent food. Their buffalo wings are pretty good.
This "quaint" Irish bar has poor slooow service and below average food. Four of us came for lunch and told the waitress we had only an hour. It took an hour to get our food from when we were seated. No good for our lunches and they will not be on our rotation.
This is a great bar and restaurant. The food is GREAT, amazing homemade soups,and steak sandwiches. TV screens everywhere so you can watch the games. The bathrooms are spotless. I came here for a business lunch and it was private enough to conduct business and the waitress was great.
One of the best bars in the area, although their beer gets a little pricey after 6PM, then again I'm used to drinking cheap beer…it's more or less on point with most other beer prices in the neighborhood. Also, there isn't a lot of standing room around the bar area and it can get really packed at night or for big events. Not my style.
Anyway, all the staff here is super friendly and the bartenders are great.
Buzztime Trivia location…love it…if it's not on, just ask one of the bartenders to put it on and give you a box….then message me on Yelp! and I'll come challenge you.
Great lunch specials, I think they are usually like $6 and you get a decent sized meal.
Sunday brunch here is awesome too…can't remember the price, but it's an all you can eat buffet, with delicious food, and a small pitcher of either mimosa or bloody mary. Great deal and good food.
I used to come here all the time in the space between the Harbour Inn closing down and Paddy's by the Bay opening up…don't come here as much anymore but I try to stop in every now and then, I like the place.
Dined at Wicked Wolf again tonight and I think I need to re-evaluate this place.
I won't go into details about the aesthetics or service since that's in my previous review (they're both good). However, after dining here twice I've come to the conclusion that the food doesn't do it for me and that they deserve more of a 3-star rating than a 4.
I went simple tonight and got the chicken BLT wrap – really no frills, grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and ranch sauce with fries on the side. Overall just okay, the wrap was tasty but the ranch sauce was super runny which made it kinda sloppy. The fries were a little too greasy for my taste as well. My dad had a wrap too but ordered onion rings in lieu of fries; I tried one and they were super greasy – the batter was also kinda cakey which is never fun.
I'm kinda hesitant to try other things on their menu, and I would return if the circumstances called for it, but I'm not running back. Nice atmosphere, good service, but so-so food.
